Elmira: I know all about curve balls! That's what it threw at me, but it brought me my daughter, and I Did have to grow up super fast. But I'm the same - I focus on her and keeping up with my job and do my best to make life as good as I can for my sweet one. :)

It has been a terrible month.
It's my last month working before I get laid off, I got into a car accident, and I have been super sick for the past week.

I want to be an artist, but a translator is more realistic.
I just need a degree.

PiM are you feeling better?

Curveballs - my goal is to lean in and take a swing. No strike-outs. I just adapt.

Heh, Ling's top reminds me of The Sims.

WHICH I CAN'T PLAY ON ACCOUNT OF THE SEASON CHANGE. My gaming-friendly computer is in front of a large window covered by a curtain. It gets bugs in it when it's warm. == I'm still trying to transfer files to this computer when I feel brave enough at night.
All of that, not to mention the flying bugs that like to invade the house every time it gets warm. Can it just be winter forever?

They're in the curtain, not the computer. Don't even put the idea in my head. I already freaked for a bit tonight because of a close-up of a bug on TV.

Well if they did get in, they'd be fried pretty quickly, the inside of a computer gets very hot.
But that leads me to wonder... why not just move the computer?

That reminds me.
We had an infestation of palmettos in our air conditioner because we didn't use it over the winter.
Yeah.

There is nowhere else in this house that's a decent place to set a desktop without having nowhere to put several other things.

One does not simply move a desktop computer. Where are all those wires supposed to go? Huh? x_x On top of that, it's hard to get to the outlet near my computer.

There would be a massive chain of extension cords going through the house.
