I have a high respect for people that can draw people. I judge mainly on people's pixel art (since that's what I make) otherwise, I accept whatever others give me, and appreciate for what it is. If I think your art was crappy, I wouldn't even comment on it (better to say nothing at all than something bad).

Quick question, do we have to start out using a sword? Or can the characters start out with other weapons? I was going to go with a lance xD

I think you can choose your starter weapon, so a lance is fine IMO but you might have to ask Arc just to be sure.
I do know that other then weapon according to the wiki we start with two skill slots.

Like Grapefruit said, I think you'd get to pick a weapon so long as it was a beginner version. ^^

Yeah, the picture reminded me of a character from Seiken Densetsu 3, and she used a lance, so I kind of wanted to base my character off of her. Otherwise I had no idea what weapon to use.

I couple I was in was. But I see plenty of RPs lasting for quite a while. I think it depends on the person running it. After they lose interest, or drive to keep it going, so does everyone else.
