@Page, That would be so cool! I use to do ballroom dancing, but haven't in a few years. I'm glad to here your having fun doing it!

I'd been thinking about doing dance classes for a while, so when I came across a free dance demonstration in the city a few months ago, I decided I'd try it out. I'm glad I did :D It was the best decision I've made, and I've definitely made a few new friends out of it :)

Dancing has a way of doing that, you meet lots of interesting people. ^_^

Absolutely! And I've definitely met some very interesting people during the time I've been dancing. It's a very social activity, and I think my social circle has expanded quite a bit, which is always a good thing :)

Mind you, when I did it for the very first time, I was left feeling very wobbly in the legs, and the next day, I was sore all over! But I didn't let that stop me, and now I'm learning a new dance called zouk, which I've been finding just as enjoyable as salsa, if not more so! I'm also dabbling in a bit of bachata, even though I've had no lessons in that area, but I plan to rectify it hopefully a bit later this year, if not early next year :) I can't wait!

Nice! The lat two dances I've never heard of before, the names sound interesting though! My favorite was always the waltz, and anything where I could spin. I actually had one dance partner who took note of that when I mentioned it, and whenever we danced hustle together, he would do nothing but spin me, lol.

I'd never heard of them as well, but I do enjoy them as much as I enjoy salsa, maybe even more so! I think I'm going to dance at least one of them if I get married again *grins*

No worries, I was there last year, didn't have my laptop for three months while we collected money to get it repaired. How are you doing otherwise?

You should, Erian. They're loads of fun :D You could probably find a place that teaches them :)

I'm going to for sure, I'll tell Gwena too, she also use to dance. As for a place, we'll see. We live in a rural area, but there are in few dance places around. I just don't know if they'll teach it or not, and what the cost will be.

The place I'm going offers free beginners' classes, and you can attend those classes as often as you like until you feel you've mastered the basics of salsa. Then you go up in levels, and you can either move from level to level once you've mastered it, or you can you stay in that level until you're ready to go higher :) If you can find a place that does that, you're set :D

I'll have to check, if it's like it was when I last danced, they don't offer that here. It's been awhile though, so I'll have to see.

I've thought about it here and there, but if I do, I'm not going to commit for at least a year or so, not until I'm working properly again and earning decent money. But since you've raised it, what are some of the perks? I might as well start finding out now :)

This is what I can think of so far, with reminders from the Internet:

1. The hardware is gorgeous and high-quality.
2. Excellent battery life.
3. Customizable and flexible user interface.
4. No bloatware, aka random programs that come installed on your computer.
5. No viruses.
6. Updates are super duper quick.
7. The trackpad is awesome. You can customize your computer to do different things when you swipe with one, two, three, etc. fingers at a time.
8. The laptops are super light.
