Oml Utgard-Loki. pIEGONMAN. I need to finish the damn book x u x that and my paranormal book ahah.
Ohh I sees. So the movie isn't so bad, besides rape mention and rape jokes. Rape mention is one thing, but rape jokes..ehh. Not great.
I think it's really stupid they don't show the guy naked. Like, I know deadpool has scars and stuff, buuut..xD At least show him naked too! Maybe people wanna see man body. D< You're right though, it is all unbalanced.
I have not read those though! O: Are they all fantasy? they sound so. :3 I love fantasy books ^^
yessums!
At first, I thought it was a higher form of Loki? Or some kind of relation to Loki? But nope! I guess he's technically the first Norse God of mischief before the Loki we know? xD
I don't mean to slip spoilers... but I hate Thor in this series. He's like a big joke
Yes, besides the nudity/sex jokes, it's pretty funny ~
Yeps! I mean, it's not like they're trying to be conservative in the first place. Deadpools character is not conservative in the lest but, the comics focus more on missions/killing rather than pornish stuff. I guess they wanted the movie to attract more men but with the vast amount of comic nerdies around the world, I just don't see the "why" for it.
Yeah! They're all fantasy c:
The Summoner
^ elves/dwarves/orcs/magicians/demons/royalty
Lockwood & Co.
^ ghosts/wraiths/specters/haunts & curses/paranormal things
A Court of Thorn and Roses, is kinda like a reversed more intense Beauty & the Beast?
^ humans/beasts/demons/fae/magic/royalty
Throne of Glass
^ assassins/demon/fae/witches/wyverns/dimensions/royalty
I was hoping there'd be a sequel to Blackthorn Key too but it doesn't look like it yet?

Yeah... that's just how guys insult each other, though.
Sexual gay jokes is gold to them?
I mean, Deadpool can swing both ways if he chooses.
He even suggests as much about Wolverine and Spiderman.*

I was a fan of the character Deadpool was based on, which was Deathstroke. Except, Deathstroke was a really serious baddie who wasn't funny and was actually pretty sick.
Anyway, can you believe I didn't see this thread until just now?!
Well, the actual character himself is awesome.
The movie they made exactly how the comic book illustrates him. He's less... grotesque looking in the movie than in the comic. He's more of a living corpse in the comic book artwork. And still, I prefer him more in his suit.
Deadpool is a annoying, sarcastic, humoring, hate/love kinda character xD
There's not much all-around humor in most marvel characters, so Deadpool is where the comic relief goes to (die), I guess?
I know they all can be funny when they want to, even Batman.
But they're almost like 150% serious all the time.
Yeah, they're really not! I mean, it's Deadpool xD He aint serious. The character himself is a good one, but..yeah. I just don't like the fact that there's rape joookes. That's all I'm hatin' on it really for. Humor is my thing, and so is Amane's! I appriciate serious movies, but I like cute or funny moments to lighten up the mood myself. :) I think it really just depends!
omg those books sound amaze MIRO! 8D I like fantasy shit x3 So me likies the sound of 'em so far!
Definitely. Some people are amused by those jokes, and other aren't. I hope it didn't seem like I meant it that way. o.o I don't clump people together like that. x.x

Makes sense.
I never really got into the Marvel comics, so I don't know that much about Deadpool or the other major Marvel characters except for what I've seen in the movies and the TV shows.
Deadpool seems pretty likeable, but I guess I'm a sucker for angsty, sad, serious characters. My dad really wants to see the Deadpool movie.

It might all change? I'm not sure why they went strong on those jokes xD
I get he's apart of an sketchy environment but eh.
fufu ~ I'm happy they caught your interest <3
If you do check out Throne of Glass - make sure to get the "assassins blade" , it's the 5 story prequel to the whole series. Most people jump to the first book and they don't accept that the main character was any more grand than the boasting she does throughout her position as a well-paid assassin. There's a tug of war with her being weak/strong - strong/weak but it does get better.

I never have myself. I've just watched the TV shows, really. xD
Deadpool was the only one I ever got interested in, to read.
I mean, my favorite marvel character is Gambit/Rogue (from the 90s ver) and Wolverine. Loki, from the recent Avengers movies. * Peter Quill + Rocket, from GOTG.* And I only like the newest Hulk make over from the Avengers movie. I absolutely dislike the other Hulks, they were never right.
There might be a few more but I can't remember right now* It's pretty limited p:

yeah, if you're not really sure about seeing it - just wait until its in the "red box" to rent for $1 something.
Or rent on Amazon video for $4? that way, you don't lose much money on a movie you didn't enjoy.

yes thank goodness for student discounts, eh? I don't know if I qualify for those right now though. I kind of wish I took more advantage of student discount things looking back now
I watched the new star wars movie in theaters but I would not see deadpool in theaters, I will just wait for it to come out on dvd or something. or netflix maybe if it is on there someday

My friend used them a lot and took me to movies, lol
I never done it because there never were any good movies out when I wanted to go.
'cept it's not like they'll card you. They have student discounts on Thursday in Noblesville. So it is a specific day you get to use it. They just ask and you say yes , then wala! Discount. I'm not sure if it depends on how old you are if they do ask for evidence, though.
