A lot of people find it easier to draw their own gender because they're used to seeing it in the mirror. Doing sketch studies of the opposite gender will really help with this. I'd also suggest just examining people around you (not in a creepy way, or anything. just take mental notes xD). It really does help. Just keep practicing and you'll get it! Personally, my preference wavers between the genders. Right now, I tend to draw more females because the female figure is easy to create nice movement throughout to composition with. However, I used to prefer drawing males. It really just depends on my mood, I guess. :]

I find men are harder for me to draw then women. But that may also be because I am woman and I know how my body structurally works and it's easier to put down on paper. Men are structured differently so I think it's probably natural for people to have some issues with drawing people of the opposite gender

Boys are so much harder! I suck at boys! I don't even try anymore! I can never get the body shape right, and the features are girlish, like big eyes, little noses, that stuff.

I draw girls all the time and I almost never draw guys. So I don't ahve much practice it is harder for me to draw guys. But also.. I can't draw bodies at all. I'm not very good at it. So both are a bit hard for me to do. Faces for boys aren't to hard.

Girls are usualy harder for me, but it all depends. I usualy draw boyish girls and girlish boys, since I enjoy messing with gender-rolles. Breasts are a hell to draw, while boys hips can be a pain too.
As I conclusion I say girls bodies are easier to draw fast for for me, since they have more curvy lines and are less complex considering muscles, while boy bodies mostly often looks much better, even if they take time to draw.

Depends on what sex I've been drawing the most at the time.
Boys are easier for me.
Females are harder.

I think boys are easier to draw, but I guess that's just me, since I don't draw them a whole bunch. I have issues w/the muscles and stuff.>___<; Girls are so curvy and easy to draw. I like drawing them more because I can do more fascinating outfits for them.

Hmm...I don't know that's tough...
Girls have more curls so it's easy to make a slim figure or make them busty.
Guys on the other hand are more sharper and I think more straight lines I think....I'm not so sure how to explain it but I think that's how it is.
Well I tend to draw more girls so I guess its easier to draw them then guys. Guys just have to remember that they aren't that curvy and more straight lines more.

I find guys harder to draw than girls now. For some reason, I it used to be vice versa but when I come to art school that changed. XD

Females are easier to draw for me (possibly because I am one and I'm more attracted to them, so I both have personal experience as to what their bodies are like, and I spend more time drawing them). I've had trouble translating dudes into my current style, especially their facial features, since that style evolved mainly through drawing girls (again, since I draw them more).

I have a more difficult time drawing boys, I think its mainly because I'm female. Most of my troubles lie in making everything look proportioned and making their hips look manly. :< So many of my men have girlie hips *cries*

Well for anime and cartoon stuff It's easier for me to draw girls. It's more simple. I know the feature's better. But for drawing realistic people I like to draw boys. It's easier... for me at least.

I don't have a problem drawing either gender in the Anime style, it is drawing them in regular style that I suck at; but I can draw really great dragons and Wolves and pretty much any animal(except horses, which is odd since when I was younger I could draw amazing horses freehand), I think the trick is to get the base outline of your figure down first then draw the muscles and hair when it comes to boys(though to be honest I don't bother with the muscles half the time) and even girls.
I suck at drawing anything in a non-anime style, except landscapes..

I think it deepends what gender you are. for example is it for me easier to draw girls, but for my brother it isnt. but we both dont draw good. I really cant drw noses and to do the eyes in the right seize is a chalenge too, the proportions I can do ok for both genders.

I think it is harder to draw girls, but that may just be because I haven't drawn one in so long >.> All of my significant other's characters, which are the things I have been drawing, are male...and I've been drawing a lot of my own characters, which are also almost all male.
...I am not sexist.
And also I have noticed that any female characters I draw look masculine. The only feminine ones I have been able to pull off were my mother's World of Warcraft character, who has pink hair and...well, breasts.
I think unless breasts are drawn on my characters, no matter what they will always be able to go either way. >>

It's usually the females that are easier to draw than guys. According to one of my high school art teachers, artists prefer drawing girls than guys because the female structure has familiar features that artists can easily remember. I'm trying to keep this PG or so, but hopefully you understand what I mean. ><
