Oh, you'd better make the drive then. ;)

I'm liking the book actually. I never think to look in "young adult," but this is solid writing and I love the feel. Bought the second too. I'll have to pace myself so I don't run out before the next one's out.

What?! On a Saturday?! No way!

Well....my husband has to go in to work on Sunday night and finish some stuff. Seriously, why do employers give their employees a bunch a work and an unreasonable deadline?

It just angers me.

edit: It's like a teacher demanding a 10 page paper the next day!

I will, Belly, in an hour or two. When I'm more awake. :)

Glad you're enjoying it, and good luck with the pacing. (I can almost guarantee you it won't work. They're quick reads, both of them.) Young adult dystopian fiction tends to be pretty good, really. Have you read the Books of Ember?

@Cica ~ Nope, but the salesperson recommended them. Did you enjoy that series as well? I should make a sprinkles library post when I get back from training, I've been on a historical fiction binge prior to this and some of those are worth sharing, I think. =)

@fulkth: Perhaps it's because employers tend to be grossly out of touch with what's involved in the actual work they require their staff to do, or because they're more concerned about profit than anything.. or maybe they feel that your husband is amazingly talented and capable and can actually pull it off no problem?

Well, I haven't read the fourth book, Belly, but I loved the first three. Everyone should read The Prophet of Yonwood, especially. (I should look into adding to the Sprinkles library as well. Has anyone made a Hunger Games post yet?)
