They are to enjoy the beauty of the flowers without tricking everyone into thinking that they found a bud or an orchid or whatever. Aren't they pretty? :D It will also be a nice souvenir after the event, I believe. ♥

I noticed that it says buds are equivalent to 25 Gold each, So can we trade them, sell them or donate them? With other users?

I think there is one more item left. The event ends on the 21 st and no item will be released on that day, so that just leaves the 20th.

The event actually ends on the 22nd, so there will be two more items. The last day is left open so that you can collect more orchids and decide exactly which of the items you want to collect, and to give you more time to get the ones you haven't found yet.

The gold value on buds is only used as an exchange rate. Since you can use buds to purchase event commons, we made them roughly equal to 25g. You can't trade them to other users or change them into gold.
