"They do say you should end every studying session with a feeling of accomplishment."
Though the smile came through in his voice, the smile on his lips was hidden in her hair as Fynn kissed her scalp, taking in her scent. "But we could keep going - it's up to you."

As Drew ruffled her hair, Anna had smiled lightly and murmured, "Sweet dreams," while continuing to stare off in space. Though professor McGonagall had agreed to help her, it would be a mighty long way before she'd actually succeed in her efforts - she'd have to continue working hard for a long time, and not lose hope or courage.
Somehow, the thought of losing either of those was scarier then the many risks involved with becoming an animagi, and Anna was thinking over the strength of her own soul by the time Liam came walking into the room.

Leane smiled as her hand slid into his hair and she kissed his neck gently, murmuring softly between kisses, "Mmm, tempting. But I think I'll stay right here."

Liam smiled at Anna as he sat down across from her. Noticing her far off 'deep in thought' look, he chuckled softly as he inquired, "Knut fer yer thoughts, love?"

Letting out a contented sigh at the feeling of her cool lips against his skin, Fynn's voice sounds dreamy. "Good choice."

With her chin still in her open palm, Anna tilted her head to the side, giving him a sweetly-sad, too-mature smile as she admitted, "I was just wondering if I was strong enough, is all. Did you talk with Saiyuri?"

"Mm, glad you think so, dearest," she murmured softly as she stood on her toes, her fingers twisting gently around Fynn's hair, and her kisses made their way up his neck, across his jaw, to his earlobe. After a gentle nibble, Leane's tongue seductively brushed Fynn's earlobe in a gentle kiss before she retraced her movements, resting her cheek back on his shoulder as she continued to kiss his neck. Between kisses, she softly whispered, "I think I've done enough studying for one night, don't you Fynn?"

Liam nodded, "Aye, she sounded well, she asked me t' tell ye 'Hello' fer 'er. If ye don' mind me askin' though, what 're ye supposed t' be strong fer?"

Having melted under her gentle kisses, Fynn only uttered something resembling "sure", his mind too fuzzy to say anything else. With his head tilted upwards, his eyes closed and his mouth slightly opened, it seemed like all of his senses were focused on what Leane was doing to him.

"Life," Anna smiled cryptically as her hand shifted positions lightly, her knuckles now supporting her head by resting against her cheekbones. With her head tilted even further, the lines around her eyes softened as the brunette's smile became sweet. "But I think I might have found someone wonderful to get support from, should I need it. So I should be alright."

Leane's kisses made their way slowly back up Fynn's neck, across his jaw, to his chin, and finally to his lips where she paused as she stood on her toes and deepened the kiss. Kissing him tenderly once more, her lips lingered briefly on his bottom lip, not allowing the kiss to end too soon. Soon after she opened her eyes and kissed his nose as she giggled softly at his expression. Smiling, she kissed his nose once more before inquiring teasingly, "Does this mean I broke my promise to not get us off task?"

Grinning she added softly, "I did try you know, I really did. But you're just so irresistibly cute sometimes that I couldn't help myself!"

Liam grinned as he took Anna's other hand and brought it to his lips for a gentle kiss, "Aye? 'n' who might tha' be, Mr. Weston or Mr. Phillips?"

Still grinning, he leaned over and kissed Anna's cute little nose before placing a tender kiss on her lips. Leaning back, he teased, "Or could it possibly be Mr. MacMillan? He seems t' be quite reliable 'n' a great comfort. But if it's 'im, I'd watch out fer Lee; she seems t' be gettin' quite attached t' 'im, don't ye know. Could turn into a jealous rage," he added with a soft teasing chuckle.

"C-c-cute...?" Fynn's stutter was absolutely adorable, but not even remotely meant to be that way. His mind nothing but a blank slate due to Leane's kisses, the black-haired youth was having problems enough registering Leane's voice - let alone respond to it.

He did, however, regain enough conciousness to respond to her affections - and was now putting his own lips to work near her ear - his tongue toying lightly with her earrings in between the open-mouthed kisses behind her ear and jawline.

Giving a cheeky grin, Anna looked at the ceiling in mock seriousness as she replied, "They're all wonderful, of course - but I was thinking of Saiyuri for that position, actually." Though she'd mastered the "acting cool" bit, it still unsettled her a bit to have Liam touch and kiss her so easily. The skin of the hand he was holding was glowing warmly, while her nose and cheeks had a nice pink tinge to them, befitting Rudolph himself.

Leane's nails dug into his shoulder as he kissed her. In a soft voice, hardly above a whisper, she murmured, "Did I say cute? Sexy, might have been the better..." Lost in his kisses, she lost her train of thought or a few moments, but quickly regained focus and finished, "Yep, sexy is definitely the better word."

Liam sighed as he released her hand, "Sorry, love. I prob'ly shouldn't 'ave done tha'." Scooting an inch or so away from her so there was more room between them, he smiled, "Sai's a good choice, though. D' ye 'ave 'er number or a way o' contactin' 'er?"

Growing intoxicated on her smell, Fynn only grunted in reply - not really caring, anyway - as he continued his attentions to Leane's slender, pale-white neck. His lips nipped at the skin there, watching in interest as he noticed a muscle pulling, and using his tongue and teeth to get more movement out of said muscle.

The less Leane kissed him, the more he regained control, and after a little while longer, most of Fynn's desire was back in check - though he didn't stop his kisses, or his caresses on the small of her back.

With her eyebrows raised, Anna looked at him from her seat across the table, a sense of disbelief coming over her. A moment later she was shaking her head lightly in the same feeling of disbelief, her eyes rolling as she gently chided him. "You idiot," with a simple movement, she lightly bonked him on the head with her knuckles, leaning over the table to do so. "I'm joking - of course I meant that I wanted to rely on you."

A soft moan escaped Leane's parted lips as Fynn's teeth brushed against her neck, "Fynn..."

Her hands immediately slipped under his cloak and moved it off his shoulders and neck. The cloak out of the way, her left hand slid to his chest where her nails dug into his shirt as he continued to kiss her, while her right hand slid under the collar of his shirt and gently caressed his neck and back as she pulled herself as close as she could to his body and lips.

"I meant tha' I shouldn' 'ave kissed ye, not tha' I shouldn't 'ave teased ye," Liam said with a smile. With a soft chuckle, he looked down into Anna's eyes, "So does tha' mean I don' need t' give ye 'er cell-number, but mine, fer emergencies?"

As his fingers slipped underneath the hem of her shirt - caressing the bare skin of her back now - Fynn allowed himself to lean closer too. Licking his upper lip, he looked at her upturned face, noticing the heated blush there. After a moments' hesitation, his mouth landed on hers, taking in her lower lip and sucking it gently before kissing her properly, his head tilted to deepen the kiss.

"Oh..." Anna looked away awkwardly for a moment, not sure what to say to that. "If I need you, I'll find you... but..." Her eyes travelled back to his face, and as she reached out to touch his face with her fingertips, she asked, "Why would you apologize for kissing me?"

Leane, now standing on her toes, returned his kisses with as much passion and love as she was receiving. Her thoughts still jumbled over his sudden intensiveness, she hadn't even noticed her left hand beginning to unbutton the first few buttons of Fynn's shirt, gently stroking the bare skin it revealed with her fingertips.

"Ye seemed t' tense when I kissed ye just then, is all. I figured ye were too afraid o' hurtin' me t' tell me ye didn't like me kissin' ye so much. After all, it isn't exactly proper behavior o' me t' be kissin' ye all th' time when ye don' even know how ye feel abou' me, is it?" Liam blurted rather embarassed and nervously, "I-I just assumed since ye made it clear we weren't datin' 'n' all, ye wouldn' want me kissin' ye."

A slight blush filled his cheeks as he spoke, not really meaning to admit to Anna, but not really having control over his mouth at the moment. For although Liam put on a good front while Drew was around, he was rather taken aback by Anna's saying that they weren't officially dating; for in his eyes, he believed they had been dating.

Shaking lightly under her touch, Fynn's heart proceeded it's excessive pounding, his head tilted to the side as their lips merged together in a number of kisses. Truthfully, Fynn couldn't even remember how often they'd kissed so far. Not that -that- was anything to complain about.

"WHAT do you think you are doing, hm?!" Looking even more like a vulture then usual, Madame Pince stood at the beginning of their section, hands balled into fists in her lap. "I will not have you disrespect my books so - out! OUT!"

Startled by the sudden interruption, the boy just gaped at the librarian for a bit, not loosening his hold on Leane in the slightest.

"...oh." Suddenly going quiet, Anna looked down at the table, mulling over his words. "You don't have to say anymore... I'm sorry if I hurt you." As her eyes travelled back to his face, she looked a bit embarassed herself. "Actually," Anna started after a moment, though still giving off a wave of incredible shyness, "It's just... I like you a lot more then I think I should, so soon. When you touch or kiss me, I just get butterflies all over."

With her cheeks glowing, she admitted, "I've never been in a relationship before... if we said we were dating... I'd be a lot more terrified about messing it up..."

Leane blushed deeply as she slid out of their embrace just enough to turn slightly to face Madame Pince, the hand hidden by Fynn's body working out of sight behind her, "Forgive us, Madame Pince. We were studying, however. First, we studied charms. But while we were studying, a fellow classmate, I cannot think of whom at the moment, brought us something to eat and drink seeing as how we missed dinner due to all this studying. Something must have been in the juice for you know we would never be disrespectful to the books nor act in such a manner within your Library."

After slipping Fynn's wand into his pocket as Leane finished telling her small lie, she completely slipped out of his hold so she could turn and hold up the glasses, "They must not have been filled with Pumpkin Juice. We thought they tasted off, but we thought it might have just been fresh, right Fynn?" she added with a smile as she handed the glasses to Madame Pince with a slight wink up at Fynn, not seen by Madame Pince.

What happened was this - As Leane spoke, she had slipped her hand in Fynn's pocket and secretly produced his wand. Her back towards the table, she had cast a quick spell to cause two cups to appear, partially filled with liquid the color of Pumpkin Juice, on the table.

Liam shook his head as he reached over and took her hand, stroking it gently, comfortingly with his fingers as he looked into her eyes, trying to show her he understood, "Don' worry, love. Ye didn' hurt me; I understan'. Ye know I'll wait fer ye, so whenever yer ready all ye 'ave t' do is say the word. I'm not goin' t' push ye, love; ye know that, right?"

Hoping to god that the excuse would work, Fynn just waited tensely for a response from the old librarian. Always being quite the good boy, he'd never really gotten into any kind of pickle before - and he was thoroughly disliking being in one now.

Madame Pince eyed both black-haired youths suspiciously for a moment, her eyes narrowed as she peered at them over her glasses. Doing so caused her to recognize them both as being prefects, and all her paranoid thoughts dissapeared like snow under the sun. "In that case, it might be best to have Professor Snape check it out! Yes, yes," more talking to herself now, the librarian scratched her cheek as she eyed the cups in distrust, continuing her own mental thoughts, "Professor Snape would know what to do if they were potions - it might just be a failed experiment. I should tell Dumbledore, too, get him to stop the students from practicing in the library - too much risk for stained books. Yes, yes."

Letting out a small sigh in relief, Fynn squeezed Leane's hand as Madame Pince got lost in her own musings. Directing a wink down at her, he waited for her lead, truly not skilled at getting out of a nasty situation.

"Liam," Anna's voice was somewhat stern as she frowned at him, though her cheeks were still a rosy pink from her previous statement. Those two things together caused her to look like a young, adorable girl trying to chide someone. "I don't want you to wait for me - I don't think you should have to."

Knowing that he might misinterpret this, the slender brunette lifted a hand in order to stop whatever reaction that might have come, silencing him in advance so that she could continue. "I like you. Really." Her smile gained confidence as she used her hand to caress his cheek. "There's no pushing involved. I want to act like we're dating. I just... I have to lie to myself and pretend we're not dating in order to not have one of my insecurity attacks, which tends to result in me pushing everyone away."

Her expression had turned self-mocking - her eyebrows lowered as she gave a helpless smile, her shoulders lifted lightly in a shrug. "I'm an idiot and get terrified when I think I'm gonna get hurt. The more I care for you, the more I'm going to feel like I want to bolt. That's why I need to pretend that nothings' going on. You get it?"

Leane smiled as she walked over to Madame Pince and soothed her, "If you'd like, Madame Pince, I can take them to the Professor myself. I'm sure it was nothing serious, surely nothing more than a harmless prank. I've recently taken points away from a few of the elder students, it was probably just their way of getting back at me by way of sending an innocent to deliver the cups, nothing to get the Headmaster involved in; especially now that the effects have worn off. Thank goodness you showed up when you did for who knows how far things could have gotten in those last few moments before it wore off.

"As for the students practicing in the library, I think it's a wonderful idea to let them stay; simply ban the food and drinks from entering the library. We students love the library for it's peace and quiet, it allows us to concentrate on our spells and better ourselves without the distraction of our friends and activities. It's helped me out tremendously already, please don't stop us from practicing."

Liam smiled as he placed his hand over hers, kissing her wrist gently, "I understand perfectly, love. So we'll be together, yet not official, but we won't be seein' others, eh?"

As the old librarian agreed easily to Leane's request, Fynn couldn't help but shake his head in wonder at her acting skills. While part of him was impressed by them, the other part felt somewhat relieved. If Leane was this skilled at deceiving people, perhaps it wasn't such an odd thing that they had wasted so many years thinking they hated eachother.

Still following along this train of thought, he only listened with half an ear as Madame Pince talked to Leane. "I suppose you are right at that," she spoke somewhat surly, still looking at the offensive goblet. "But it's really irresponsible to try out potions and then leave them around for people to accidentally sip. I know accidents are bound to happen at Hogwarts, but this is just too crazy!"

Though her cheeks were tinged a faint pink colour from his attention to her, Anna's expression still managed to be thoroughly serious, and she looked at him quietly in that manner for a long time. After a moment she admitted, "You're free to see others, of course, since I won't hold you to any monogamy that we didn't agree on. But even if we weren't dating, and I was only remotely interested in you, I still wouldn't do it. So, there's no risk of that, certainly not now."

Leane smiled as she placed a hand into Madame Pince's and soothed her once more, "Madame Pince, I am a whiz with Potions. Allow me to discover the potion used and tell you the moment I find out? Will that set your mind at ease? I want nothing more than to set you at ease for I am perfectly fine now, so there is no harm done and nothing to truly worry over. The effects of the potion have completely worn off, I promise, so if anything it was a simple lust potion. But if you wish it, I will test this goblet the moment I can and will report back immediately with the results."

Liam couldn't help but smile as he placed a tender kiss upon Anna's lips before kissing her rosy cheeks, "Never. Th' only girl I want t' see is you, Anna. You 'n' only you. So fer as long as ye accept me affections, 'n' even after ye stop acceptin' 'em, my heart will belong t' you 'n' you alone, that I can promise ye. 'n' I don' mean t' sound forward 'n' it's not me intention t' scare ye 'r anythin'. I just want ye t' know where I stand, so yer not wonderin'; in case ye ever want t' make it 'official' between us, I mean."

Shaking her head, the librarian settled the matter with a, "I'd rather you take it to Professor Snape", before slowly starting to shoo them out. "I'd also rather have you be looked at over at the infirmary first, before leaving for your common rooms. It's late, and students should be getting to their own houses."

Giving a helpless smile, Anna held a hand against her cheek as she tilted her head, admitting, "I'm just a basket case, I know. I'll do my best to hurry up and get over these ridiculous fears." Her free hand reached out to lightly grasp his collar, and as she pulled him into a kiss, she muttered under her breath, "I'll want to claim you as my own soon enough, anyway."

Leane smiled as she took Fynn's hand and grabbed their cloaks, "Of course, Madame Pince, I'll bring this to Professor Snape right away. We shall then go to the infirmary as you suggest before we go to our common rooms."

Once they were free of Madame Pince and a safe distance from the library, Leane leaned against the wall of the hallway and pulled Fynn into a kiss. "Not bad for spur-of-the-moment thinking, eh?" Leane whispered as a sly grin spread across her lips.

"I love yer fears, Anna, so don' think ye have t' change," Liam said softly as he returned her kiss, "Ye need only t' ask, 'n' I'll be yers."

Taking her hand in his, Liam smiled and placed a gentle kiss upon her fingers, "Fer now, though, ye'd best get t' bed. It's gettin' late 'n' ye don' want McGonagal after ye fer bein' late."

"You truly are the devil in disguise," Fynn whispered back after returning the kiss, his awe sounding through in his voice, a wide grin on his lips in response to her. "I seriously didn't think she'd go for it."

Squeezing her hand lightly, he added, "Though, to really have all of our bases covered, we should actually add something into that potion and give it to Snape. I don't think she'll forget about it so easy."

Her eyes softening as she looked at him - so gentle, so concerned! - Anna nodded quietly, not really wanting to leave. Normally she would have boasted about not following the rules, but she knew she needed her rest in order for her schemes to work.

So taking the smart option, Anna turned away from him, lifting her legs over the bench in an easy movement before turning back around to him, and softly kissing his palm before nuzzling her cheek into it. "I'll head off, then."

Leane grinned at the compliment, "Already ahead of you. I have some amortentia potion in my trunk, I'll simply slip some into the goblet before I give it to Snape. Come to the common room with me and wait while I retrieve it? We'll have to go to the infirmary if we are to truly have our bases covered anyways."

Placing a gentle kiss upon her forehead, Liam smiled, "See ye in th' mornin' love?"

He was already leading her back to the Slytherin common room as it dawned on him. "...why on earth do you have amortentia in your trunk?" Fynns eyebrow raised as he eyed her suspiciously from the side as they walked together, unconciously still holding hands.

"Bright 'n early," Anna nodded, standing up after indulging herself by kissing him somewhat more seriously, her tongue slipping into his mouth in an instant, and evacuating again before the boy could react. "Though, perhaps, not bushy-tailed."

Leane laughed as she grinned up at him, "Well, it's fun to place into the older students' goblets when they've acted cruelly. Not to mention it's a perfect way to get back at my parents when they've acted wretchedly and have said cruel things to either me or Josh."

"Not bushy-tailed, love?" Liam teased with a smile after recovering from the slight shock of her kiss, "D'ye mean t' tell me ye won't be eager t' see me? Well isn't tha' a shame."

With his mouth a bit open, Fynn gaped at her. "...you make your parents go lusty to get them off of your back?" He was all but starry-eyed with amusement, however.

Her tongue peeked out lightly as she gave him an impish smile. "Oh no, I'm sure that won't be the issue."
