Ever had a sunburn so bad, that you could feel your pulse? My arm is totally pulsating right now, so is my nose. It's so weird and feels creepy.

Yep still doing that, and it's going ok. Though pretty slow going, have to start exercising so much more. It's just the weather sucks & my car is on the brink. Nah that's totally cool :D

Well our neighbour found a guide dog wandering the streets this morning. So we're just waiting for guidedog services to come and pick it up. Poor thing.

I dunno but i called them and it's from the suburb over, so it's wandered a fair way. I wonder if someones put it in their car ...

I do think that the items could have been passed out to more people and, perhaps, people could have been informed that there might be an item given out. Would have gave the event and the contest threads more activity.

The Captain's Hooch might be released in stores one day. I guess it depends on how popular the item is. As for the other two, my understanding is that only 300 Squid hats and 500 ship hats were made. And I think people are expecting 1000 to 2000 for them.

I mean - it was kind of an understanding that it wasn't an event so there wasn't going to be event items. To suddenly have them in the end.. It's just annoying in a sense because now we're all stuck scrambling and there's hardly any of them. Not to mention some people have all 3 items just handed to them..
I mean, I'm -definitely- grateful for the 2 ship hats I got - I just kind of wish there would have been more warning, or at least a chance to earn the other items :(

Yeah that's true. It's quite sad that they never mentioned there were gonna be event items. I maybe would have made more of an effort lol. But just lookin over it and stuff it just didn't look very appealing. Same contests, same crap really. That's why i never bothered. Oh well ... Guess i'm just gonna have to try and find sellers. ^^

I know. I do feel bad that I was one of those who got all three. I do think I read that some people wound up with more than one of the Squid hats but I think it was meant for one per person.

I think that the price is too high for them. I could understand in a month or so but they were passed out just today or yesterday.

It's just beyond ridiculous in my opinion~
For that price my collection can lack them because I'm not wasting 10k on 2 items that have just been released ^_^;;

I would pay up to 1k for each. But finding a seller will be hard to do.

I'll keep an eye out for anyone selling them at a reasonable price and let them know you two are interested in them.
