"Quite possibly." Alexis sighed and hung her head briefly. She needed a massage.

"When we get back down, I am taking over the hot tub. You can join me, it's awesome."

"I might just take you up on that," Autumn said. She glanced into the lab again. "And don't ever let Tony at these two, he'd never let them go again."

"Seriously." Alexis managed to grin at that. "Natasha might join us in the hot tub, she'll take any excuse to get in that thing. Fair warning."

"Cool," Autumn said. "Girl power in the hot tub. Sounds great." She grinned. "As long as nobody cares that I'm still supposed to be on medical leave."

"Yeah, no one cares," Alexis said with a snort. "I don't think anyone cares, not after today."

"Good point," Autumn said. "Hot tub it is. After that, though, I have to head back to Xavier's. I should check in with Charles in person and figure out a game plan."

"We'll all be working on plans after the hot tub," Alexis agreed. "You can borrow a car or we can get someone to drive you out there."

"I'll call Charles and see if he can send someone out," Autumn said. "It'll probably put them a bit more at ease if they know someone is there to look out for me if something happens."

Alexis nodded her satisfaction of that.

"Well, we'll see when we even get to land," she said, trying not to grumble too much.

Autumn nodded. She knew Fury wanted to stay in the air as long as possible, to give them some breathing room, but it couldn't last forever.

As long as possible ended up being another thirty-six hours, by which time Alexis was more than ready to get back down to the tower and take a very long dip in the hot tub. And hopefully not strangle Clint.

Fury was reluctant to let them go, but they couldn't stay on the Bus any longer. So he left them with strict instructions not to cause any trouble or attract any attention that they didn't want. They needed to stay under the radar until things settled some. Autumn followed Alexis back to the tower, already working on an email to Charles on her phone to let him know she was back on the ground.

Alexis got them up to the living levels of the tower to find that her things had been moved to the tower and she had a room prepped for her. She blinked at that before she shrugged it off, while Natasha just smiled a little, knowingly.

"Right. Hot tub." Alexis grinned in anticipation.

Autumn limped over, her crutch abandoned for the moment. She was fully prepared to get into the hot tub in her underthings, and was surprised to see a bathing suit waiting for her. Even more surprisingly, it was her own. She hadn't expected that.

Alexis snickered at her expression. "Tony does things like that," she said, grabbing her own swimsuit. "There are two bathrooms down here, so you grab one, Natasha's already in the other."

Autumn nodded and hobbled into the second bathroom, her swim suit in hand. She hobbled back out a few moments later, the wound on her leg carefully bound up to keep it clean and dry in the hot tub.

Natasha was already in the hot tub, and it took Alexis only a few moments longer to emerge and join her. She groaned a little as she sank into the hot water.

"I don't know if I'm going to leave now."

"Oh this is heaven," Autumn murmured as she slipped into the water as well. "Oh yes I need to get one of these."

Alexis snickered. "Yes you do, this is amazing." She sank a little lower in the water, stretching out.

Natasha glanced up at the nearest vent and smirked at it.

Autumn noticed Natasha, and glanced up at the vent as well.

"Really?" she asked. She nudged Alexis and gestured to the vent.

Alexis looked up at the vent and heaved a sigh.

"Clint, stop spying," she called. "Either get your ass down here or scram."

"I'm not spying," Clint said from the vents. "I'm steaming."

Natasha just snorted.

"Uh huh." Alexis rolled her eyes. "Just get down here."

"I'm good here," Clint replied, though he was grinning a bit.

Alexis huffed, groped around the edge of the tub for a minute, and grabbed one of her socks. And then dumped it in the water and flung it up into the vent.
