Ok I'm gonna need Wallflower help on this by 10:45am tomorrow. I have an outside-of-class assignment to do (two in total this semester...so far I haven't done any).

Think of a good that you believe is highly inelastic and poll at least ten people about how their consumption would change if the price changed. You should ask each person

a) how much they currently buy of the good at current prices

b) how much price would have to change before they would reduce their consumption (if they say they would always buy the same amount, ask how much they would buy if the price were to double, or triple, or quadruple)

c) what sort of changes they would make if price were to increase (for example, what other goods would they buy instead? Would they make different changes in the long-run versus the short-run?).

@Mar-Mar: Hello! And here are my answers. Although I don't know if they'll help. Let me know if you need more info.

a) 1 or 2 a year, if at all.

b) If I bought a lot and the price became $5-10 more, I probably would buy less.

c) If the prices increased I would just use the money I wouldn't use on the CDs and buy necessary items.

It wouldn't have to since I don't buy any.

I would buy mp3s instead. So if the prices for MP3s became over $5, then I'd just buy the CD instead.

@ Marguerite: I don't really buy CD's that often, so if the price were to go up I just wouldn't buy any at all. I'd just continue to do what I always do and borrow them from other people and make copies. I don't know if this helps but its one less you'd have to bs anyways :)

OMG yes! it can be so boring sometime. I mean I enjoy doing all the hands on things, but the whole memorizing thing bugs me. and my teacher that teaches the class is not a good teacher. I'm very annoyed with her right now, because she didn't excuse my absence even though I wasn't absent, and now I have to talk to her again because she lost my test, and then she never gave it back to me so I don't know what I need to work on.
