hey my little cardinal came back today!! i saw him yesterday in the trees in front of our apartments. and penny just heard him. he was hopping around on the ground, looked like he was looking for food :) they are soo pretty!

dude, i found this recipe i wanna try so bad! i bought some turnip greens for my snails and thought why couldn't we eat some of it too? so looked up recipes and found one! you boil the turnip greens and then saute it in bacon grease with salt and pepper. sounds interesting! i'm afraid it'd be too greasy though. guess i just need to try it! was gonna go to the store this morning before they got too busy but hubby took my car to work again. >.< it has the car seats so we are stuck here. when he gets off work they are so freakin busy and i get all frustrated so i'd rather go when everybody is at work or school! *takes a breath* :lol:

wow. okay. hm....turnips? lol, I can only think of my brothers when I hear that word. but that sounds pretty yummy and I bet it really is greasy that way though.
