I no longer remember... I just remember being angry that I spent my actual money on them and then others were getting them very cheaply with gold... didn't want the mennie to depreciate in value.

There is that, and churches are generally willing to help if they can when people are in a pinch. I know my church had a family take in a college student until she could get a job.

Or they might know where to send you for help

I don't have a church, or go to church. I'm agnostic, for the most part. I know they'd still help, but that seems kind of like cheating, to me, considering I'm not an active member.

You might want to tell them what is going on and see if they are willing to let you pay later

My grandparents gave me some money. Hopefully all this blows over in the next week or so.
