Leane rolled her eyes playfully as she rested her hand on the Professor's door and whispered over her shoulder, "Somehow, I don't think Josh will be able to judge."

Knocking, Leane waited for the Professor to allow them to enter, "Professor Snape? Madame Pince sent us."

"What is it?" The droll sound of Professor Snape's voice welcomed them in, as he was standing over a cauldron with some type of potion in it. His eyes fell on Fynn and Leane with a light quirk of the eyebrow - finding it odd to see one of his own house mix with a Gryffindor.

Fynn - though rather adequate at potions, still despised by the professor - hid somewhat behind Leane; not really trying to minimize his presence, but still standing more behind his girlfriend then next to her. His only reply to Snapes bored look was a tiny smile and nod in greeting, leaving the talking up to Leane.

Leane, not phased by Professor Snape's cold and bored greeting, smiled her brilliant smile as she took the goblet from Fynn and walked over to the professor.

Handing him the goblets, Leane filled the professor in with the same story she had told Madame Pince, "So you see professor, after reading up on the different kinds of potions, I believe what is in these goblets is amortentia. We're on our way to Madame Pomfrey, and hoped you could take a look and see if that is actually what was in it? Or if it was perhaps something else entirely?"

Though barely noticeable, Snapes face does soften a bit due to Leane's smile. Putting down the goblets on the desk, he lifts one of them to his face, taking a sniff. "That's not a bad conjecture. Miss Supton, what does it smell like to you? Mr. Macmillian?"

Leaning over the other goblet, Fynn takes in the scent, and blushes a bit as he recognizes it. "A bit like make-up."

Leane blushed, "Thank you, Professor, to me it smelled like spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg."

Snape nods, waving his wand to bring a small vial over. "It also has the pearlish gleam. I will take some of this and seperate the ingredients to make sure." Again using his wand, a small trail of the amortentia-spiked-juice glides through the air into the glass vial, which he then puts away.

After this, though, he gives both teenagers a dark look. "However. Considering that this is most likely Amortentia - one of the strongets potions in existence - there is no way you two could have drunk this and be this composed." His thin, long fingers closed together on the desk as his cold eyes travelled from Leane to Fynn, and back again. "Care to explain?"

The look causes Fynn to swallow a bit nervously as he glances at Leane, stating, "We only took a tiny sip, professor, and quite a while ago already. It must've worn out?"

Leane sighed as she explained, "Professor, we are not lying to you. I'm afraid we didn't just drink this. We drank it around dinner time. We'd been in the library for quite awhile, not to mention the effects of it were still working as we were heading down here after Madame Pince caught us in a rather embarrassing embrace. When we were walking down here, it only heightened, the portraits will surely tell you that much. Since we'd only had a sip from the goblets, the potion must have worn off for the most part over the past few hours. And honestly? If you weren't here right now, I'd still be all over Fynn. If you weren't a professor, Professor, I wouldn't be forcing myself to stand in place and not think about him as much as I am right now. 'Cause the more I think about him? The more I want to dart out of here away from your eyes and start snogging him again," she admitted with a blush as she nervously looked at her feet.

"That's called being a teenager in love, Miss Supton," Snape dryly stated, "Not being under the influence of Amortentia. No pretty story will make me think otherwise." He sighed boredly as he glanced from one teen to the other again, and then admitted, "I can't deny that this is spiked with Amortentia, however. So I won't deduct any points, for now. Just go to bed.... SEPERATE beds."

Leane blushed an even deeper scarlet red as she nodded, "Y-yes, Professor, goodnight."

How had everything gone wrong? Was she losing her touch? Her schemes never failed.

Sighing, Leane turned and headed out of the office. Once outside the door, Leane leaned against the wall to the right and slid to the floor in defeat.

"Hey," Fynn was by her within seconds, not allowing her to slump down, and immediatly helping her up. He'd just walked out of the professors' office without a word, noticing how Leane seemed honestly upset. "He didn't punish us - so what's wrong, Lee?"

"Everything! How could I have not gotten out of this? I get out of everything here.." she said miserably as she started walking down the hall, her hands shoved in her pockets, "I just don't get it. Why didn't he believe me? I think I'm losing my touch," she added, her lips forming into a small pout as she thought about herself getting out of countless other schemes without any effort.

Following her through the hall, Fynn looked at her with a small worried frown, wondering to himself why she found this to be such a big deal. "Leane..." With a hand on her shoulder he brings her to a halt. "He's the Potions professor. We just didn't know enough. Besides, it was probably my fault."

Leane shook her head as she wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a tender kiss upon his lips, "No, it's not your fault. I'm really sorry dearest... When Snape officially busts us, you're going to be in a lot of trouble because of me.. If I hadn't had the bloody idea to weasel my way out of the library, you wouldn't be in this mess.. And now because this time I couldn't talk my way out of it, you're going t obe in even more trouble than if it had been someone else, being a Prefect and all.."

"There's still Amortentia in the drink," Fynn pointed out, hugging her to him as he placed a hand on her hair, soothingly caressing her head. "There's no way they can prove that we didn't take in a small amount. You heard what he said - it's a strong potion. Like most strong potions, there's no way to prove when someone has taken it."

His arm around her waist loosens a bit to give him room to place a chaste kiss on her lips. "I'm going to have to keep in mind that I'm a Prefect a little bit more - but aside from that, no harm done, Lee." His brown eyes light up in amusement as he adds, "We had fun, anyway, so it's worth it."

Leane couldn't help but smile as she returned his kisses, "You sure I'm really worth getting McGonagal angry with you, my dearest Fynn?"

"For now," he teases, hugging her again before letting go, and guiding her back down the hallway towards the Slytherin common room. "Though if I'm forced to do all kinds of horrible tasks for detention, I'll let you pay for it."

Leane laughed, "Of course. Since I got us into this, I'll take the heap for it."

Sighing, Leane looked up at Fynn as she linked her fingers through his, "Are you angry with me?"

Taking their linked hands to his lips, he gently kissed hers, before assuring, "Not at all."

As they reached the Slytherin common room entrance, Leane turned to Fynn and wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning back against the wall beside the entrance. Pulling him close to place a tender kiss upon his lips, Leane whispered, "I love you Fynn."

In response, Fynn takes his time to kiss her, keeping the kiss tender despite making it more intense. His tongue gently caresses her upper lip as he pulls away with a warm smile. "I love you, too." Once again, his hands reach up to cup her face, and he gives a chaste kiss. "Good night. I'll wait for you by the stairs in the morning."

"I'll try not to make you wait too long," she replied with a smile as she placed one last tender kiss upon his lips before heading into the Slytherin common room, feeling a rush of fur at her feet. Looking down, she saw Vanora slink in. Laughing, she picked up Vanora and held her against her chest as she gently caressed her head and headed for her dormitory. After casting a spell to remove her make-up, Leane changed into pajamas as Vanora curled up on Leane's pillow.

As Leane fell asleep, she decided she would send her amortentia bottle to Saiyuri with her owl the following morning bright and early. Better she have it with her in case of emergencies than for it to get taken here.

The next morning found Anna bright and fairly bushy-tailed as she made her way to the library. It was early, still - too early for classes and breakfast - and she had been one of the few up and about so early in the morning. The school felt strange without numerous pupils walking around. Odd things could be seen, like the groundskeeper Hagrid standing without a shirt as he tended to his basic hygienic needs outside of his little house.

Anna caught him washing himself with the water of a barrel as she walked through the hall, and the brunette grinned in amusement, before happily skipping ahead. No doubt the Library teacher wasn't up yet, but the library was normally not really closed, and though it was still a bit dark out, it wasn't dark enough for statues to still be guarding areas.

For now, the brunette had only a couple of things on her mind, and none of them were worrisome.

While the rest of the students were fast asleep in their beds, Leane awoke to Vanora pawing at her cheek. Sighing, Leane got out of bed, put on a house robe, and dug a bottle out of her trunk. Slipping it into her pocket, Leane picked up Vanora and headed out of the common room to the Owlry across the grounds.

Though the library was indeed empty and open, Anna had no intention of hanging out in the dark room, and instead sneaked out of the double library doors while holding the book on Hogsmeade she'd been planning to borrow.

Quietly, book in hand, and with her robe shut tightly, she made her way down the stairs, intending to sit comfortably in the brisk September air, on a bench in one of the outside galleries.

Slipping through the empty corridors, Leane finally reached the Owlry without running into anyone. Having already written a note to Saiyuri explaining everything, Leane tied the note to the bottle and placed into the bag she conjured with her wand. Handing the bag to her crested owl Juniper, Leane softly caressed the owl's head with a smile as she kissed it's beak. "Take this to Saiyuri quickly, okay? And don't get caught. Be a good girl and bring mum a sign of where Saiyuri is, alright?"

The owl cooed and rubbed it's head softly into Leane's palm before taking flight, going off in search of Saiyuri.

Returning her attention back to Vanora, Leane yawned and sleepily headed back to her common room.

On her way back, however, Leane spotted Anna and blushed as she neared her, "Morning Anna, what brings you out here so early?"
