It's not that crazy of a goal. Hummy's RAK thread easily gets 1k in pages during events. True it's during events, but the idea is to promote activity and fun.

If I had made the goal something realistic, like 500 pages. Most people would have just posted and left as soon as we reached the goal.

I don't want people to come just for the free. I want people to come for the activity, to meet new people outside of their normal threads, to work towards a goal that sounds impossible.

I do get that, I totally do. But it could have been like 1500 or so... *shrugs* Just makes me feel like with the 3k page goal and not even getting 600 pages, we've failed.

It's hardly a failure. :3 And truthfully my normal aim is 2k pages (because long time ago users promised me 2k pages thread during an event and I still have the prize from that time sitting in inventory lol )
