Once I get truly chilled, it is very hard for me to get warmth back into everything. I,too, dislike the cold.

I like to draw sometimes, but I wouldn't venture to say I'm good at it. I'm not terrible at some things, but most of the time I basically draw the same pose for everything. I'm trying to get away from that, but it's difficult when I've not had any formal instruction. I had some help from a friend and drawing books, but I mostly draw what I see.

Which is harder than it sounds lol.

Sorry for rambling. XD

I'm that way with pixeling. Working on getting into more poses right now ^^

All good Rose ^^

Gotta agree... not easy to learn alone. I at least have a friend giving me a little inspiration.

So I did something which my brother that I live with categorized as "dumb sh*t".

It was storming and I decided I want something from the grocery store. I waited until it let up and then left. It didn't rain on me all the way there. That isn't to say I didn't get wet. There were giant puddles across every place I needed to cross and the roads were somewhat flooded.

So I got to the store safely, and it was no big deal. I got what I wanted and checked out. Again, this was not a complicated matter. When I left the store it was not yet raining again. I walked as quickly as I was able and reached the McDonald's that is the halfway point when it started yet another deluge.

So I went inside said restaurant and waited until the rain stopped once again.

According to texts from my mother, my brother was terrified and throwing up because I went out in this weather. I don't know if he actually threw up, but he was pretty crappy with me when I came home and told me if I was going to do this"dumb sh*t" I needed to find another place to live.

The only good that came of this was that I did get what I intended at the store for later and I got a chance to stop for some cookies.

That was the highlight of my day.

I don't understand this "Vomit cause I'm worried" stuff...
First of all... unless you're on a mountain you're fine. Unless you're holding lots of metal, you're fine. And unless you have an allergy to water... well worst you can do is get a cold.

I was totally fine. My mom gave me a stern talking to a little while later on the phone, but I was just calm about it. It really stressed them out apparently.

I do feel bad for causing them stress, since I didn't mean to do that, but gosh darn it I'm a grown woman and should be able to make my own choices.

Yes, Poet. They still fuss at me and give me guff over...pretty much everything. I'm working on finding a job so I can strike out on my own and have a little more freedom.

I don't think families/parents ever really start treating us like grown women.
I know my dad still likes to treat me like his little girl sometimes & I haven't lived in the same house as my parents in over 10 years.
