I logged into Gaia Online today. Forgot how much I hated it after the GC/Gold explosion. Which reminded me how much I love you guys. I MISS YOU IM SORRY IM NOT ON MUCH ANYMORE.

I tried logging into gaia not too long ago. AND HOLY - there were so many pop up things on the screen and a bunch of announcement s and ads just flying all over the place. It was weird and made me feel like get outta my face with that

I'm pretty sure old users resurface on there since most people who joined gaia had lots of irl friends who joined too. Most people still go on there for the same reasons people come here i think. Friends

BUT YEAH at the time i was so happy because i was questing them for years. Then when i finally got them I was happy. But then i stopped logging on bc no friends anymore.

I like coming on mene. TO avoid my responsibilities lmao but also to chat with friends. Over all i think i'm just not that excited about avi sites as much as i used to be. I would join so many other sites. But i deleted most of my accounts from other places and most of them died :/

Recolor.me is another avi site. It's pretty active. A lot of people who left gaia are on there now.

Sorry I disappeared. Sleepy Anarchy was in a title feature race for kart racing but was in an accident. Worried girlfriend ensued. He's a bit sore but is okay, walking and probably has a tale to tell about it.

The thing with Gaia (that ruined it) though is that they went crazy with GC.

they really did thats why i like how m ene's been handling it, with a few 'recolors' and 'special items ehre andt here' instead of all the time..

Yeah, it gives more users a chance to get neat items. Keeps the market low and stable.
Not everyone has the opportunity to pay cash for items so less special items/focus, more equality. Which is awesome.
