I hate those kind of jobs...there's no sense of gratification or accomplishment at the end of the shift, you just feel like shit and a lot of people agree with you. At least when you work alone (if you like that sort of thing) you know you'll get the work done, be able to chat with the random stray people who wander in, and handle all the security measures yourself.

It went okay, the jerkasaurus is making good progress. Four months have gone by...and he's only $50 from his suprise end of sentence.

The only upside to working retail was that whenever one of the friends I made there would be on a register near me and didn't have any customers, he'd come over to bag for me and serenade me. I miss that little guy.

Agreed. Emphatically. Especially when they think they deserve something they didn't pay for... Some days I HATE working in the hotel business... Especially because we see a lot of foreign traffic that are a bunch of snobs.

One guy actually had the nerve to call me a retarded dipshit WANKER to MY FACE and expected to get away with it because my supervisor was there. For one thing, he didn't have a lakeside room reserved, and for two... He never actually made a reservation *oops, did I do that?*
