Yeah there are pros and cons to having kids. I'm thankful i don't have any at the moment coz i love my freedom. Lol

Well I guess it's technically passing. I always go into a class hoping to get an A, and satisfied with a B...but this class I just want to get AT LEAST a C. It's hard...if science isn't your bag. Which it really isn't a class that is directly related to ANYTHING I am interesting in doing...

I hate science and math. Math especially. xD

Math isn't too bad, since I've gotten the hang of it. I don't enjoy it and I consider it busy work. >_>

Science is fun, and interesting, sure BUT with the BIO100 it's a crash course on many different segments of Bio so by the time you skim the surface you're given something totally new to study. There isn't the building on the concepts you get...

I hated Zoology. I always skipped lecture, but I went to every lab. I ended up with a B which was a miracle considering my first exam was in the 30s. :XD Like I said, I hated it.

So far I'm averaging over 95% in zoology. :p

Okay, Clair really wants sons. She's always dreamt of having little boys.

But she just heard a version of the song "Sweet Caroline", and fell in love with the song and the name. If Clair has a daughter, she'll name her Caroline and will sing this song to her! :"D

I had always wanted a son, too. I was a little ambivalent when we found out we were having Terra. I think at the time I was afraid I'd not be able to raise a girl as well, as I'd already had a hand in raising my nephew. Whatever I had been feeling was long gone months before she was born though.

Good thing too. She has a lot of my habits. :lol:

@ Chi:: I have other reasons for wanting a boy more. I worry that if I found out during my pregnancy that I was carrying a girl, that I would spend 9 months of fretting, disappointment, etc. I think that if I didn't know I was pregnant with a girl, and then delivered a girl, I'd be too excited about having a baby in my arms to care about the gender at that point. That's why when I'm pregnant, I don't want to know the gender. :)

I initially had the worries you do now, but you can tell it doesn't matter now for me. :XD It switched my brain around so that if we ever do have two kids, I'm expecting another girl, oddly enough.

So long as s/he would be as healthy as Terra, s/he could be transgendered for all I care. I'm just sooo relieved. ;_; I know Terra has my troubles with gluten, but beyond that all seems well so far! She's really strong to boot. They say babies aren't supposed to put weight on their legs at this point but she's been trying to jump lately. e_e; I think her standing helps her with gas. Not sure!

Clair wants to have the thrill of being a parent, but it's a very frightening thing to do. I heard a quote somewhere that went like

Choosing to be a mother (or parent- can't remember which) is the permanent choice of allowing your heart to live outside your being

And that's so true, if you're a good parent.

Yeah I know. And it's a lot of work too! I feel I'm never going to be ready. So might as well go in head first!

Yeah, we feel there are better methods than corporal punishment. I think for the entirety of my life I only received two, maybe three spankings. I clearly remember two, and I deserved them. :lol: My mother mainly just grounded us if we were bad.

I was never grounded. Well... I was once, but then I was able to prove that I had been WRONGLY accused and that I did not deserve to be grounded. It shocked my mom so much that I was actually give a fair argument and does agree me that I didn't deserve to be grounded. xD

I had quite a few spankings, though. :/ Nothing that would scar me for life, though. :lol:
