The skirt is placed an item before where my EI set will be, but I have that situation with other events as well. It's okay.

The inventory shuffling was caused by the "Rearrange This Drawer" page. Never again.

I wish we had a button to straighten out the whole thing to issue date.

so we need an in-rearrange button to press

If you trade it and then give it back, it'll place itself at the date when that individual instance of the item was created, which in the case of special items will usually be around the time it was released. Items from the shops are a complete loss, though.
