"Thank you my love." Sy smiled. "I can't help but worry. Nicholette was injured. Theres a rogue vampire stalking the Inn. I fear that some of my favored patrons may be in danger." She sighed and got out of bed to look out the window.

I followed her, wrapping my arms around her waist and resting my chin on her shoulder. Looking into her reflection's face, I assured her, "I will protect you and those around us. They are our family and I won't let anything happen to them, I promise."

Her heart soared at Kiseko's words. "Family. Thats what we all are." She leaned back to kiss her cheek. "Thank you, my love. I'm not sure how I'd survive without you."

I smiled and nipped her neck playfully, "Shall we head downstairs and see what the others are up to?" Wandering around the room, I searched for my clothes, not sure what happened to my top.

Sy smiled. With a snap of her fingers, Kiseko was dressed in the same outfit as before, though she still held her own pants. Sy dressed herself in a pair of black jeans and a purple halter top. "Hows that love?" She asked as she mimiked scissors with her hand and cut her long hair into a spikey pixie cut.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her, "Good, thanks love." Kissing down her jaw, I nibbled on her neck and purred at her.

Sy leaned down and kissed her. "Your very welcome sweetheart."

a messenger comes running into the the inn, hands Sy an envelope, and takes off. inside the envolepe is aa multi colored rose and a letter.
the letter reads :

Hello Sy, its me. i told you i'd keep in touch. i miss all of you somthin fierce, are the shape-shifting brothers still around? tell evryone i said hello. my sister draca should be comin your way pretty soon... please be careful with her, she has a heart
of gold but she was born with elemental powers and can lose control if she gets spooked. please do not hold it against her. have i mentioned that i miss you? please allow my sister to stay downstairs if she wishes as she prefers open spaces. you will know more when you meet her.

Sy took the evnelope and tipped the messenger. As she read a smile tilted her lips, her heart warmed that Aslaina would hold her word. She looked at Kiseko. "Looks like we better make downstairs liveable." she smiled, handing Kis the letter. She took the rose, and put it in a vase on the fireplace mantle.

I read the letter, "Aslaina?" Following Sy downstairs, kissing her cheek before starting to clean up a bit. Stacking dirty dishes and taking them to the kitchen and straightening things out.

Kimmi quickly fled up the staircase, searching for the one called Anora.

Anora sat on the edge of a windowsill, looking down at the forest. It seemed the vampire wasn't stupid enough to attack the Inn. She wondered if she should head inside soon, maybe catch a nap.

"Some fresh blood will be good for the Inn. Make things move again..." Sy smiled, and began fluffing pillows, sweeping, washing down the mantle, the bar, and tables. She waved her hand and all the roses and lilies in the Inn bloomed fresh. She picked a Tiger Lily, and tucked it into Kiseko's hair.

Wrapping my arms around her waist, I kissed her, "Thank you love. So who is the person who sent that letter?" Sitting, I pulled her into my lap and nuzzled her neck.

"Aslaina, used to hang around the Inn. She was a good friend." She kissed her neck. "but like everyone, eventually life pulled her away, but she promised to keep contact. Apparently her sister is coming to visit us." Sy nodded. "yes. New life will do wonders for this old building."

Kimmi found Anora and stood next to her. "You might not think a vampire's stupid enough to attack an Inn, but once this one sets his eyes on something, it doesn't let go. At least not until it's completly deystroyed or killed to his taste."

Anora looked back, over her shoulder, then back out the window. "If you're so clever, where would you hide if you were stalking this Inn?"

I murmured in agreement, snuggling closer to her, "Can't wait to meet her. Maybe a new breathe of life will be brought into this place, make it more lively."

Sy smiled. "Maybe some day, the Inn will be filled with music, and drinking, and laughter, again. Oh, that would be marvelous!"

Kimmi took a deep breath and said, " I don't have the brains of that loser, so how would I know? But probably somewhere dark and shady."

Naida slow began to kiss Caleb but a sudden sharp pain hit her chest. She gasped and agrabed her chest. She began to what look like breathing hard. she began to sink and lay on the lake's floor

Caleb felt the pain surge from her and immediately stopped, looking her in her eyes. "Naida.." His voice was quite as she began to kiss him, but he was worried, the pain was still there. When she started to sink he knelt beside her. "Naida!" The vampire wrapped his arms around the nymph. "Naida speak to me!" Panic arose in him, water was her element, why wasntshe well?

Naida gasped as her pain continued to worsen "Caleb" she barely audible. "take me back to my room" Naida said slowly. She fainted after speaking

Anora nodded slowly, looked back. "I'll remember that." She turned and headed off to another side of the house, going on watch once again.

Naida's mind drifted from the pain as she fell 'unconcious' she heard her mother calling her. Her voice full with a mixture of sadness, concern, and love. ''Mother'' naida cried out
