Aiko turned when she heard someone sit down in the stools behind her. Two someones, it turned out, as she noticed the two siblings sitting. She stared at them in silence for a second, looking from one face to the other, before her face lit up in astonishment as if having a breakthrough, which she was. "You two are twins, aren't you?!" she asked, having not been present at the previous mentions of their relation.

Alana flicked Coyan in the back of the head. "Be nice. We do rock, cheers" She held up her glass and clinked with Caira.

She took a healthy swig and grinned at Aiko's revalation. "Aren't they fab? He's a bit cranky though." she said winking at the twins.

"I am not cranky...." He looked at Caira hiding her face behind her drink and sighed as he shut his eyes. "Fine I'm cranky. All for good reason. She's a headache 24/7." He said poking his sister in the nose before flicking Alana's elbow.
Caira snarfed on her drinked and sputtered a bit. She glared at her brother and then looked at Aiko. "Wait seriously did you just realize this?" She laughed and shook her head. "I guess Alana and Heita were the first to meet us. But sheesh we were following you around even a moment ago." She shook her head and laughed again.

Aiko laughed. "Well I knew you two were related, or something. But it just occurred to me that you two look way the hell alike!" She laughed and took a drink, turning to Alana happily. "This kicks ass," she commented, gesturing with a nod of her head towards the drink.

((Celia would take a drink right now but seeing as she needs Heita to translate for her...oh and warning anyone who does not want their character sprayed with spit and alcohol had best move away from Celia and the bar ;D ))

Heita noticed what it was that the girl wanted, not something hse could agree with however. "You should not drink." she signed slight faster than before. "It will cause problems for you." Again she was hoping she got it right instead of screwing this up like she normally did. Being a party pooper was not her idea of fun, but she did need someone who would be sober with her. It would cause many problems if she was the only sober person, for she was not a very good voice of reason.

Caira looked from Aiko to Heita. "Wait does she want a drink? If she does give her one. Not like one's going to kill her." She shrugged and sipped at her drink again. Then again maybe the girl was an alcoholic? Who really knew anything about the people around them. She shrugged and leaned against her brother. "Sooooooo if no one's got any qualms with it. I'm up for being chef for the time we're hear."

Celia smiled and rolled her eyes, ignoring Heita. She probably guessed that Celia was underage and didn't want her to break the law. Wait, but the island wasn't in America, was it? Celia mentally shrugged. In any case, it's not like she hadn't drank alcohol before. Come on, who hadn't?

'Thanks,' she signed at Caira. Hopefully Heita was nice and would translate for her regardless of whether or not Celia was following Heita's advice.

Coyan watched the girl and smiled. She was cute and apparently not one for rules. Course who here was? He closed his eyes and yawned. "I'm SOOO up for her cooking. I'm not biased...she's just THAT good." He looked back at Heita and tilted his head. "Hey bookworm....what'd she say?"

((Hey, akari, you might want to devise a new way of communicating that doesn't reply both you AND Chrono Gala to be online. Because as things are now, whenever someone interacts with you, they have to wait not only for you to reply but then for Heita to translate it, which means things might get slowed down.

You could always go back to writing things down, and of course things like smiling and nodding or whatever to convey gratitude. Or just generally expressing things nonverbally. Or you can go back to pen and paper.

There are times it'd be more logical in-character to have Heita translate, but it also limits her roleplaying abilities because it kind of makes her follow you around translating when...basically everyone is trying to drink now it seems xDD))

Aiko's face lit up at the offer. "Oh, that's awesome! I hate cooking. I like baking every once in a while, but cooking...I'm awful at it. I burn everything." Between the music, the strangers who she was already starting to make friends with, and the alcohol, she was having a fantastic time. The following month could not have seemed more exciting.

Caira smiled triumphantly and gave one curt nod. "Then if no one else has any objections or if anyone else would like to help, which is always helpful, then I'll be master chef for the rest of the time!" She giggled and held up her drink as a toast and then downed most of it, only having the rest taken from her by her brother who drank the rest before she could get messed up on the rum. "Spoil sport."

And as for the username, it's part of my LiveJournal username and I was excited to see that since there are fewer people on Menewsha than, say, Gaia, I could actually get a fun username.
The sad thing is that a lot of people spell it wrong. I almost spelled it wrong when I first made my LiveJournal account, luckily there was a bottle of Febreze next to me so that I could see my mistake!))

"Absolutely fine with me," Aiko agreed. "Cheers!" She raised her glass along with Caira, and without anyone to steal hers, finished it off on her own. "I'm so pumped for this month, totally not going to lie," she said, pouring two more drinks and handing one to Caira. "I feel like it's not even possible to get hungover in such a nice place. ...but...that's just me being stupid, and I guess I should probably hold back." She held her serious expression for a second, before cracking a smile and rolling her eyes. "As if that's ever stopped me."

((Yeah Febreze you do have a point. Don't worry, I'll work on it, and honestly I'm planning on most of Celia's communication to be nonverbal. Just someone hand Celia a drink! lol))

((I think Alana said that she made up a picture of Long Island Iced Tea, so akari can go ahead and pour herself a glass. :3

Also, it made me laugh when Celia said that thing about "who hasn't had alcohol?" given who was the one writing it.))

Celia smiled at the trendy girl and poured herself a glass of - whatever it was - from the pitcher on the bar. She had to figure out this girl's name. She seemed really cool, and her shoes were really cute. Celia took a sip of her drink --

Oh shit! I'm pregnant! she thought suddenly, and spit the liquid out of her mouth. Then she just stood there, horrified at what she had done. The thought made her almost want to hurl.

Who does Celia mean by "the girl" whose name she has to figure out?))

Aiko heard a spitting sound from behind her and turned around to see Celia looking shocked. "What? Have you not had alcohol before?" she asked, curious at the reaction. It wasn't like anything was off about the drink's taste - in fact, it was fantastic. But if the girl didn't drink, the taste of alcohol could have shocked her, like a child trying their parents' champagne.

((lol she means Aiko. No one's said her name since Celia came into the room.))

Celia shook her head at the trendy girl, her eyes still wide with shock, and then, feeling the bile rise up from her stomach, turned and ran from the room.

Aiko blinked. "What the hell?" She felt a bit concerned - she'd been to more than enough parties to know what it looked like when someone was about to throw up - as well as confused as to why this girl was throwing up after just a sip of a drink. Who threw up that easily, unless they were bulimic, or-

"Oh God, she's pregnant," Aiko realized out loud, standing up and following the girl out of the hall. Looking to the left she saw a bathroom door shut quickly. She leaned against the wall next to the door, turning her head to call through. "Are you okay?" she called, knowing not to expect a response.

Personally, she hated being sick. Not that she thought other people liked it, but she really couldn't stand it, and it was the one thing that kept her in line when she was drinking. So she was feeling pretty bad for Celia at that moment.

((EXECUTIVE DECISION: They aren't on the map but there are two or three bathrooms on each floor. Yeah, idk where. Use your imagination. They're all in hallways though, none in rooms.))

and wtf about first of all figuring out Celia's secret and second of all deciding she went to the bathroom. She is NOT throwing up, and if she was, it would NOT be because of morning sickness, it would be because she's horrified that she might have given her baby Down syndrome

((Nope, bathrooms are in the hallways. I have reasons for that decision. :P But there are two bathrooms in the bedroom hallway.

I misinterpreted her as running off to throw up, since that was what you said she was about to do - twice. And since throwing up just because you almost had one sip of alcohol, which will not have any effect whatsoever on a baby in such a tiny amount and your character is pregnant and should know that, her reaction only made sense if she had some other reason to throw up. Aiko assumed the most obvious one, or at least the one that would be most obvious to Aiko because that's the sort of person she is/spends time with.

Since I did misinterpret the part of her actually throwing up, ignore my last post and I'll rewrite it, and her not drinking the alcohol makes sense but her reaction was a bit too extreme for you to expect people to not try and figure out why. It's fine to have her freak out like that but you can't expect other characters to not guess that your character has a secret if you're going to make it the center of attention like that.

But I do appreciate the opportunity to rewrite it because I was actually writing Aiko a bit out of character in order to try and follow you out of the room. I haven't been making Aiko quite shallow enough.

Aiko blinked as the girl shook her head and ran off. "That's so gross," she muttered in annoyance, glancing along the bar until she found a napkin holder. She pulled a couple off, throwing them onto the ground on top of the spat-out drink and stepping on them to press them into the carpet.

[I...I've missed so much! Dx I've been out of town for daaaays. I'm so sorry I failed to tell you guys- I was surprised myself. What did I miss, exactly?]

((Umm, not much because nobody's really been posting. :/ Uh, people busted out some alcohol and (akari)'s character arrived, who is mute, and Heita's been translating for her and not much else. Celia just ran out of the room so if you go into the "party room" now, there's...uh...everyone but Celia I think is there now. With Long Island Iced Tea.))

Coyan blinked as spit landed on his arm. He looked as his arm as he wiped it down and then at the horrified girl's face. He sat up some, catching his sister's attention and then watched her run out of the room as Aiko asked her what was wrong. "Yeah...gross but is she ok? I mean....did she just go against her religion or break a vow or something??" He scratched his head and grabbed one of the napkins from Aiko before she could use them all.
" Don't make fun of people's religions Coya. We don't like when people make fun of our religion. If she did break a vow then you poking at it with a hot iron isn't going to make it better." Caira threw an ice at her brother's eye and stood up. She placed her glass on the bar and poked her head out of the room looking for the girl. "Hey...hun..." She walked out wondering if she went far. "I can't really read sign language but are you going to be ok? Do you want some muffins?"

((YES I OFFER MUFFINS TO UPSET PEOPLE!! XP And...Akari what's a teetotaler?))

((It's a funny word that only she uses, so I like to make fun of her for it ^w^ It means she doesn't drink and doesn't intend to.))

Aiko shrugged. "I'm glad Caira went after her," she noted, remaining in her seat but turning it so she could lean against the bar and look out the door where Caira had just gone. "Like, I feel like someone ought to have and I don't like to get involved in people's personal business, you know?" she continued on, taking a sip of her drink and turning her head to look at Coyan.

"I try to keep my nose out of things too but she's a busy body and loves everyone. A personally trait that out of being in foster care for a good part of a late childhood." He shrugged wondering why he was bringing up past events but brushed it aside. "Its like she has the overwhelming need to love others because she didn't get the love she wants or something. I tried...but she just didn't care." He leaned back enough to be laying down, mind you laying half askew but laying down none the less, on the pool table. "SOOooooo anyone else going to drink or Caira, Alana and Aiko hear going to be the only ones drinking up a party?"
