I just bought the Mortal Instruments series this week. Bought it because I keep hearing about it, heh, so far it's alright. Just started City of Ashes today, in fact. It's been kind of predictable so far, but a good read nonetheless.

I also bought the King Raven Trilogy with it, but I haven't gotten a chance to read those yet. Not until I finish the Mortal Instruments, at least. I heard good things about this trilogy as well.

I have not bought any manga recently, but that's mostly due to the fact that I've been reading the Naruto series and it's taking a while @.@ haha

It's amazing.

The last book that I bought was for college. It was a book called Foreclosed by Dan Immergluck. I would strongly advise against reading it. The book is rather glum, boring, and quite frankly too time consuming. As for fun books I bought Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows (british edition) from a Half Price book store.

The Embers of Heaven by Alma Alexander. It was a discount book the synopsis reminds me of Snow flower and the Secret fan, in the way that both books focus on the ways of women's only writing.

i've been watching trueblood a lot :) so i'm reading the books now. and yeahh i bought club dead (the third book) like 2 weeks ago. i really recommend them if you want to read some more addicting-fast-paced-fantasy-stuff (yes i just made that whole word up :P)

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins: I wasn't going to buy it at first, I was simply planned on getting it when it came in at the library. But I couldn't help myself and ended up picking it up this evening.

Last books I bought were the Magic Circle and Circle Opens series by Tamora Pierce. They are the first books I've bought since Deathly Hallows came out, and the only onces I've ever bought with my own money. And they were DEFINITELY worth it.
