Ronald Knox, he's one of the shinigami's. He used to only appear in the manga [with a lawn mower as his death scythe xD] but he made a short appearance in the second season of Kuro with William. Grell is his mentor, and Grell told him [in a reference though] that Ronald needed a catch phrase and little pose, but he messed up and he looked like an idiot. xD

Ugh. I know one of those people. She actually read Yaoi in school and showed it to everybody. No body liked her anyways, but bringing hard-core gay cartoon porn to school and publicly showing it to people is just a no. After we graduated I finally got into it slowly because she wasn't by my side shoving it down my throat. x__x

I haven't met at good Sebastian cosplayers, I know many of them and only one of them is a boy. [But I was convinced it was a girl since he looks like a girl.] Actually, I haven't seen any good cosplays of any of the characters in real life yet. Besides Agni, who I met at a recent convention in October. He was actually an Indian so he pulled it off greatly! But he couldn't find his bandages in time for the photoshoot and used masking tape instead. xD It was funny. I miss those people. ;__;

Well.. Mine hasn't got rose buttons or a chain. It is blue, though! And knee-length, with white piping. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post photos up, but I have one picture with a group featuring a fantastic madame red.


Also, I'll be honest, I HATE reading manga online. It makes my eyes hurt and I read so fast that the scrolling-clicking part is just bothersome, especially when it takes three times as long for the page to load as it does for me to read it. So you could say I'm not quite up to date, but I do love the anime. Fantastic story aside, it's one of the few animes that does so much with color variety.

I agree. Reading manga online can be a pain, but for Kuro I don't care at all, because the English publishing of the manga is so slow, that I just cant wait to read the latest chapter. I'm so obsessed with the series, it's really unhealth. D:
And for the color, agreed. In the manga there is just so much detail to everything, that's what got me interested. When finding new series, if the art doesn't impress me, I push it aside. And Kuro definitely got my attention. Since the icon of Grell that I saw had some good detail, that's what made me go find it. >w<

lol, I don't mind Claude. I burst out laughing when I first saw him appear and just went BAM onto poor Grell's face. He doesn't have that much of a character to him yet though, so I'm still waiting to see more of him before I decide whether I like him or not.

And oh, THAT Ronald. xD Very creative on the mangaka's part, giving him a lawnmower as his death scythe...

Doesn't look like much in the picture, but I swear when I was staring at him close-up, he looked amazing.

I don't like reading manga online either, but it's better than me spending loads of money at the local rental book shop renting them...and it's faster. I noticed the Shonen Jump and other various manga magazines are usually two to three chapters later than the ones released online.

In the second Kuro Musical, there are two more shinigami's. One has a saw, and the other has this...thing that I don't know what it is. So Yana likes her death gods to have gardening tools. xD

Wow. Even from far away he looks like an amazing Sebastian. I wish I could pull that off. His smirk is great too. And his costume is very good, too. I'm very jealous. I want to steal his outfit, hair, contacts, and smirk. Then I'll be good~ Oh...And the gloves too.

I enjoy buying manga when I can. But my mom became short on cash so I have a few series that aren't completed yet, and Borders stopped selling them so I have to find them somewhere else. D: One volume away from completed DearS...Boo. And I still need volume three for Pita Ten.

Fading: Hah! Yeah, the photographer kept yelling at him to keep his eyes open until we told him it was just a character thing. The one cosplay skill I lack is in makeup. I can sew up something fine, but alas it eludes me, and without it it's harder to get a strong expression in photos.

Captain: Yeah, that jacket is all kinds of crazy. The only navy blue fabri I could find was, I think, generally used to make curtains, so I know it will last a long time. The buttons are also completely fake and it fastens by snaps - buttonholes and piping are the most impossible things to do, and generally a bad idea...

But it still looks amazing!
I know what it's like to use curtain fabric for a project. This skirt I made for a Renaissance costume was made from curtain fabric, but it turned out amazing. I have yet to wear it outside of my house though. And it's been done for almost two years now.

well I have seen up to up 18 of the anime and I love it :) love the plot and my favorite charater is Sabastian heh. just love the idea of a demon butler! =D

Nope, two different persons. The girl-Ciel was way taller than the second boy-Ciel, although they do look a lot alike, now that I look at them. :O

Oh. It was 'Liu' (劉) in the Madarin volumes that I read. Haven't read the English versions in a while...although after I checked it on Wiki, apparently in Japanese it was 'Lau', so...ehhh. Yeah. :sweat:

lol, The guy probably didn't understand why he had his eyes all squinted. :XD

I can't do makeup either, even if it enhances the eyes and other features while in a photograph. I tried, and ended up making myself look more like a panda who's been punched in the eyes instead.

I read the English adaption and he's called Lao, or spelled that way actually. I haven't really heard Lao speak in the anime, since I don't watch it, so I don't know exactly how they pronounce.

Wow, I hope I get to go to a convention again, even if it means getting squished to death all over again amidst hoards of people + waiting in line under the sun for two and a half hours. My friend went to a convention up north last weekend on Saturday and Sunday, she was cosplaying as a character from an MMORPG, I think.

...Now I'm all curious as to how Liu/Lao pronounces his own name. :XD

The convention I'm going to is it's second year, last year it was great and had a good amount of people. No more than 700 I'm guessing. This year it should be bigger, I know it. The other convention I go to in the state capital of North Carolina, called Animazement, has 17,000 people regularly. Now THAT will get you squished. x__x [And lost. :'D]

The convention I went to (where the pictures were taken) is done only annually I think. There were over 10,000+ people there too, I could barely breath inside. x__x

The vendors were having a terrific time trying not to have their tables collapsed. xD; People kept pushing from the back, and the people in the front kept getting squished against the table, and the table kept being edged backwards while making ominous squeaking sounds. I was surprised the table hadn't collapsed. O_o *had been one of those who had been flattened against the table while hands flew everywhere from behind trying to grab the merchandise on said table*

The conventions here have a strict rule about showering. Because there are so may people, it tends to get stinky. No body wants that. x____________x

I love venders, because I can get all the things I cant normally get in a store. :D I got my Grell and Sebs plushie at conventions, along with other merchandise of the series. A volume of a manga that has stopped being sold in stores, and some cosplay accessories. c: I was so close to buy a Master Sword last year. xD But I didn't because I wasn't 18. -w-;; If I have any money that I can spend [Cause I really need to save] I'll buy a Master Sword. :'D

I dunno, I remember the CWTs here are done every months, though anime conventions are annual. :O

And lol, you guys are lucky you get to shower at all. XD No showers here. XDDD (so yes, the stench is quite horrifying in the summers. doesn't help how I often see people dripping sweat while walking either...)

I'm more interested in the doujinshi xD Except it's hard to find ones with my favorite characters in them...there are vendors that sell swords where you are? O__O I did buy a 1st Tsurugi keychain the other time...but it was a keychain, not really a sword. xD

I go to very large conventions where the venders room is always bigger than the actual convention it self. xD I wouldn't be surprised if they start selling Sebs silverwear. xD

Most of the vendors at the conventions I go to sell doujnishi, novels, post cards, keychains, and the like. I sometimes buy rings and I've seen some really nice posters and backpacks too, it's a huge jumbled mass of random anime-related things there :lol:

Venders usually sell those types of things. If I had $20 at this last convention I went to in October, I would be a happy and proud owner of a Kuro messenger bag that had Sebs, Ciel, Grell, and...Someone else. But I didn't. D: /sadface

@captain: Ooh, was it the ciel in wonderland bag? I have definitely seen all manner of silver kuro-related things, albeit the official ciel ring is waaay too small pass for the original.

I usually bring around a few thousand $NTD with me to conventions, for those moments when I see something just irresistabe. I try not to splurge them all, but sometimes it's hard, like when I spent over 800$NTD on that gorgeous FFVII poster...then went home and found that I didn't have anywhere to hang it up on. >___>;

Ciel would be disgusted and Sebs would probably be angry or om nom it since he's creepy and all that~

$1000 NTD? How much is that in American dollars? ^^;
