skeith landed on the tower behind Melrose and Kaer'lic with his wings spread out. "well i knew i'd find you here somewhere around here. and whats this about thinking everyone thats not a vampire being an enemy? most of the generals are other races. and Kaer'lic i don't have anything agianst you or satoshi. if i did don't you think you'd be dead already." he walked up to them and sat next to Malrose. "i have grudges agianst vampire hunters, they killed my friends, my parents, and my beloved who was pregnant with my daughter." he grew silent and could feel a tear trying to escape from his eye, something he had not done for quite sometime. "when i found you dying, i saw visions of what i dreamt my daughter would look like. you look so much like her, so i turned you into a vampire. but since i thought that you would be afraid of me like so many other humans, i left you after i bit you. you finding me was just a coinscidence, i didn't plan on that happening but when you showed up i couldn't help but take you in and take care of you like i would if my beloved and daughter survived that day

and Kaer'lic your race is still alive, i don't know where but after meeting you and satoshi i had a scent of you, and suddenly thousands of the same scents seemed to pop up out of nowhere. maybe if we find a way to end this war peacefully i can help you find them." Skeith held out his hand and said "what's ya say? i know that this is a way that Melrose wants this war to end. if i can get the humans to understand why i've done this then maybe they'll agree to end this war without needing more bloodshed. maybe we can share this world with them, better then how we used to." he looked up to the stars looking at the constellations his father would show him as a child.

Kaer'lic looked at Skeith for a long time. How could he be certain that he could trust Skeith? He knew who Skeith was of course, everyone did. But realistically, they had only just met. "My people are really of no concern to me. And believe me, having more of my kind running around in the open is not something anyone would want. But your offer intrigues me. So I suppose I will have to accept it. And a peaceful resolution to this war can only help." Kaer'lic said as he grasped Skeith's hand firmly to seal the deal.

"About being enemies, I know who you are. I may have seemed quite out of my mind in the bar, but I can assure you, when the need arises I always keep a sharp mind. Satoshi, the other bounty hunter, is one of my only friends in the world of darkness. Though I would like to think of Melrose here as a new friend." He said as he gestured toward Melrose.

"You must understand, that I am very solitary, even talking to her (Melrose) is not like me. Though when I saw her, I felt a strange longing for someone to talk to. I am glad that I did. Most people I meet. I must see as an enemy because, if I don't, they will end up betraying me. And that is something that I can not allow." Kaer'lic stood up and began walking to the edge of the roof. "We will meet again, soon. But for now, I must find Satoshi. It is almost time to open the business." He chuckled as he simply walked off the roof.

Melrose, her head spinning from the sudden turn of events, watched as Kaer'lic disappeared into the ever present darkness. She had so many question she wanted to ask Skeith, but she didn't know where to start. "So.....you were the one that changed me into a vampire...," Melrose said, seeming to be talking to herself and not Skeith.

Skeith looked at Melrose and said "yes, when i saw you on the verge of death, i couldn't bear to leave you. so i went with the only option i had." he held Melrose's hand and said "ever since i've taken care of you like i would if you were my own daughter. thats why i was worried about letting you come with me to the bar, why i worry when you leave the castle with none of the guards. i know you can protect yourself but the soilders of the human army are ruthless and could care less so long as they kill their target they see it as one less vampire."

exits bar "morning times like this make me miss the sun curse what this war has done" Daphne said slightly bitter as she walked down the street

Melrose, completely at lost as to what to say, muttered, "I never knew...wow...and I'm not that weak. You should trust me more...," then, Melrose managed a small smile and said, "Well at least now I know why you're such a worry-wart all the time."

Since Satoshi didn't want to go back to sleep he decided to get ready for work. So he took a shower and did all his other morning stuff.

"nothing interesting is going on" Daphne said as she sat with her back to the wall of a local building thinking about what she could do

Satoshi wandered out into the streets. He knew it was time to head back to work. So he slowly dragged himself to the building him and Kaer'lic worked at.

walks down the street passing the few people wandering the roads thinking about this and that not really knowing were she was going

climbs ontop of her house and sits on the roof staring into the dark sky tapping her fingers on her knees

Kaer'lic wandered through the dark streets. He thought about the conversation he had just had with Melrose and Skeith. "The leader of the dark army....how did I end up in a conversation with a guy like that?" He asked himself. "Oh well, it's probably time for work by now." Kaer'lic headed in the direction of the shop down the dark streets.

"i know your not that weak but i still worry." Skeith looked at Melrose and said "i worry because i can't bear to lose someone close to me agian. but that was the problem before and its the problem now. vampire hunters were always after me, when they found me with my family and my beloved, they attacked us and when i heard a bullet hit skin i looked as my father fell to the ground. i hear the sound of a blade sclicing through skin and i turn to see my mother die. one of the hunters knocked me out with the hilt of their sword and i blacked out. when i awoke i found their bodies lying all around me." as he told Melrose the story he had flashbacks of that faithful day.

"your here there is a town just past here" Daphne points in the direction of town "if you would like i can show you"

Staring at the girl paige run a hand through her black, pink, blue, and blonde hair. it used to be light purple but she recently dyed it, too many people after her. "that would be wonderful, i havent been in a town in forever...literally"

"okay" Daphne walks trough the forest into the town "there are bars and stores around here and over to the west are the appartments and houses for residents"

Paige follows her, "Are there any..um...vampires?" she looks eagerly at Daphne, 'i have to find a friend among my kind, even tho this girl i want to get closer to she seems like she would be a good friend'
