"It's a compound, they built it to fight off the undead. Me and a few other vampires are here, they trust a few of us, as long as we pose no threat." I explained while still holding into him.

(Hemora, your characters name is Hemora, right?)

Intresting... a few of them seem to be looking for you... two soldiers, one by the name of Sky, and the other Hemora.

"Yes, I've done well to avoid them so far." I sighed turning to look out the tent and towards the two guards.

I sighed to myself. What was left to do? I could look for the other vampires here and see who they are... but I know i dont know them... What was that smell, from the south? I sniffed and noticed that from the south there were Lycans, and zombies. I couldnt smell any vamps, but I had to warn someone... I'd go to the other vampires. Ask them if they knew who were coming... were they the ones who attacked the old fort?

"I think... There are Lycans and zombies both coming... can you alert the camp? I cant, becuase they think im human..." All of a sudden, i blacked out.

Lycans and zombies were killing the humans. I saw Ember screaming, as a lycan ripped off my arm. a zombie killed the lycan over my arm... I saw a man with an injured back and two vamps who i didnt know being ambushed by 3 vamps from my old group. They quickly killed the members of the camp.

I was laying there, unnoticed by freaked out humans. no one bothered to help me. I was unmoving. I was thinking of the horrors to come of the two vampires and the human soldier.

I was staring out the window when i noticed that everyone started looking in one direction. I looked and I saw Ember running. I heard what she was yelling and I pointed it out to the Major.
"Battle Stations, now!" He told us, we made sure that our weapons were locked and loaded. The Major grabbed his own armor and weapon. He picked up a radio that I knew went out to all of the people of the camp. "CODE RED!! Repeat, CODE RED! all units to battle stations. Engage the enemy at will. Do not let this camp fall to the undead. I want a 360 security zone around this camp. Nothing is to get through." The Major actually seemed slightly afraid this time. that was the first time I had ever seen him scared even just a little bit. It didn't make any sense to me. "Hemora, if something happens, you are to take my place. Sky, you are to be his understudy. If Captain White give u any problems, just muzzle thump him square in the forehead. He's been needing a good hit on the head for a while and I haven't gotten any reason to do it. I am going to guard the other vampire. I am going to have a squad there with me. I want you to check in with me every little while so that I kno what's going on. Good luck Hemora, Sky." He nodded to each of us as he said our names. He saluted us, and we saluted back. He locked and loaded his M4, and walked out of the tent.
"Sky, I don't like the way that he said that. Also I don't like the fact that he hadn't put his neck guard on when he left." I said, turning to Sky.
"I don't either Sergeant. But there's nothing we can do. He's determined not to let this camp fall." She told me, looking at me like lost child looks at an adult. "What are we gonna do?"
"Stand our ground, kill as many as we can, and do what we can to stay alive. Do you still have a set of 915 keys in your pocket somewhere?"
"Yes Sergeant"
"Alright, keep track of them, if we need to make a get away we're gonna take more than one truck. Be ready at any moment to get to a truck. Understand?" I didn't want to think of what would happen if we needed to go that far, but I needed to have something ready just in case we needed to use it.
"Yes Sergeant. I understand." Together we walked out of the medical tent, and started making rounds of the camp, making sure that every able soldier was where they needed to be. They would be here any minute.

I woke up from my trance. THe alarms around camp were blaring. Good. Ember warned them. I would help defend her, and since she's defendig the camp, i have to defend ittoo... damn... I walk around, looking for some weapons to use. I came across the two soldiers from earlier.
"Iwant to help. Please give me a weapon. ill do the best i can." I knew i probably had more sklls than either of them, but I had to put on a convincing show so they wouldnt get suspisous.

I was hesitant at first, cause I had not seen this guy before, but Sky immediately held out an M16 that she carried on her back.
"Be careful with it, the sights on it are a little off. You just have to play with it and see where it fires compared to where you aim." She looked at me and smiled and started walking off in the direction of the convoy that we had brought in.
"Good luck man. You are now an honorary soldier defending this camp. The main objective of this defense, is to not allow anything to get through the defense line. Like I said, good luck." I shook his hand and walked towards Sky, who was waiting outside one of the trucks. we went to step into the trailer of the truck, it wasn't the truck that the Major was in. So we turned around and went to go to another truck, as i went to take a step down, I got extremly dizzy. I must have spun around too fast. The next thing I knew I was on the floor and Sky was shaking me trying to bring me back to conciseness. I didn't know what had happened, but when I tried to get up Sky told me that I needed to just rest and not worry about it.
"Sergeant, we're just gonna stay in here for a little bit. That way you can rest up and you will be safe." She grabbed the door, shut it, and locked it. So that we would be safe, or at least for now.

I was surprised. The one named Hemura was suspicous at first, but Sky gave me it right away. now to see how close they were. When i was up on a lookout tower, I noticed that there was also a small force coming in from behind. it was lycans, which spelled trouble.
"THEY'RE ALSO COMING FROM THE SOUTH" I yelled. I saw Sky pull an unconsious Hemura into a truck, and she locked the door from inside. The truck didnt move at all.I went to the truck and and knocked on the door.

"THey're almost here! what happened?"

I was laying on the floor there was a knock on the door. sky answered it. It was the man that she had given her weapon to. She explained what happened to me and that I would be out when we were needed. She closed the door and locked it back. She looked at me and made sure that I was ok. I was feeling ok, but she wouldn't let me get up. I knew that we had to get going soon. They would be here within a minute or two now. And I was stuck in a trailer.

Sky and Hemura would be out soon... good... they would help.... but in less than two minutes I would say about three dozen lycans and zombies would be here ripping us in pieces... or at least them. I would need to kill them to protect her...

Ember jumped down and started to run towards Felix but was tackled from behind. "HELP!!" She screamed as she heard the growl from the werewolf.

I instantly turned around and growled at the lycans. For some reason, it was different than it was when i was a regular vamp. It slowed them down for a moment, and then i leveled the gun at them. I shot one, two, three of them.

"Ember! come on! We need to go!"

I fought like there was no tomarrow. I had to because Embers life depended on me. Well actualy, pretty soon, it seemed like there Was no tomarrow, because it turned dark after about five minutes, and there were about a hundered lycans and a hundred zombies. Then, a lycan bit into my arm and started yanking.

"HELP" I yelled as loud as i could, but even then it wasnt heard over the roar of battle.

Soon, there lycan was joined by another, and another, and another... they just kept pulling, and i was just about ready to let them have it... but then, Ember may be exposed to the zombie blood. Then it came to me. I tried to control a nearby zombie, and it futily attack the lycan. it got it off my arm, but it died right after. I shot each of the five remaining lycans. then, I slowly rose my hurt hand and examined the damage... It was dislocated and hurt like a bitch.

((Jeez, did you guys forget about Eleadah and I? Oh and Lord Pesca, did you know that pesca is Spanish for fishing? Just putting that out there...))
I stared at Eleadah as she suddenly turned stiff. Her eyes glazed over, almost like she was dying. The memory of seeing Cyrus's eyes glaze over returned to me, but I quickly recovered from the flashback. She let out a piercing screech that seemed to grind against every bone in my body. I covered my ears and saw her in Elsa's arms, sobbing quietly.
"What's wrong, Eli?" she whimpered, gawking at the crying vampire in her arms with concern. "Eli? It's alright..." As her cries subsided, a low growl emitted from Eleadah. Unconsciously, I lunged at Elsa and took her away from Eleadah's hands. My legs quickly gave out from the sudden pressure I put on them. I scrambled away from Eleadah, convinced that the growl was menacing towards Elsa. Like a frightened cat, my whole body seemed to jerk upward at the sudden alarm blaring in my ears. Elsa let out a cry and looked around frantically.
As I struggled to my feet, I heard a 'Code Red' warning almost inaudible against the recurring alarm. Although my legs wanted to collapse, my mind forced them to move forward. It no longer mattered to me that I was useless in battle, but as long as I still could be useful in protecting Elsa. That was the only thing that mattered, and I was going to do it no matter how injured I was.
I struggled through the bustling doctors and nurses as they tried to find a hiding place. My instinct was to find anywhere out of the open. The screams of the slaughtered reached my ears once again. I couldn't stand it. The shrieks were all around me, coming from the doctors, the ones outside, the helpless patients in the bedpans. I gawked at the screaming and crying patients surrounding me. I heard cries of help, but they were all emitting at once. I couldn't make out the words that my ears took in. The glimmer of tears run down the cheeks of the dying as they attempt to will their bodies out of entropy. I sat in a corner of the tent walls with a frightened Elsa in my arms. I felt her tremble and try to stifle her weeping. I couldn't tell if she was successful in her attempts to stop her crying. All I heard were cries and screams around me. I couldn't force my ears to take in anything else.
When I rose my head to see what was happening, I saw blood rushing throughout the floor and toward the corner I sat in. I painstakingly placed Elsa on the ground and pushed her under a bedpan. She gawked at me as I lowered my body to the ground. The blood slowly crawled under my cheek and I could taste the bitter tang in my mouth. My shallow breathing sent small ripples through the puddle of blood. I heard a screech and I felt blood splatter on me from above. The person in the bedpan that Elsa was under had been slain. The light above me reflected in the red water and I saw the large, ghastly shadow of a werewolf appear in it. The lycan was right above me. I stopped my breathing, as did the ripples in the blood. I silently prayed that the beast figured that the blood surrounding me was my own. After several minutes of holding my breath, the lycans finally left the medical tent.
I turned my face toward Elsa and she stared back at me. The whole left side of my face was soaked in blood. I carefully wiped it with the clean part of my dress garment and raised myself to a sitting position. I stared at the blood spattered tent around me, trying to force myself to listen to the drops of red water against the puddles instead of the screaming civilians.
