Tawny smiled bigger at Raito's distraction. Perfect... Though the vampires attention was held only for a moment it was plenty of time for Tawny to make her move. When Lilith turned her attention back to Tawny she would have found the human very close. The tip of her stake poised millimeters away from her throat. "Release him." She commanded, the cold silver tip of her stake making contact with the vampires skin. Stabbing her in the throat wouldn't kill her but it would be enough to get her away from Raito if needed.

she slowed down as she felt the stake against her throat. "so do you think he is worth it. he could very well be a vampire just as well as me. he will soon need to feed on humans just as i do. he'll need it more and more. unless hes a werewolve. then he would ust transform and go on killing sprees." she swallowed as the stake pushed in harder and smirked. "not bad." she said while letting go of the boy and back flipping away from the scene. "im not leaving here without blood." she yelled. she felt her vampire fangs elongate and she changed her human like fingernails into claws. crouching down she readied herself for hand to hand combat.

Raito coughed and then spat the blood in his mouth out, heaving dryly. "I'm neither a vampire nor a werewolf. Not if my theory's correct." He murmured, straightening back up to his full height. Then he shifted again into a looser fighting stance, "Just give up." he added as an afterthought. He flashed a small smile of thanks in tawny's direction before turning his attention back to the vampire.

lilith made a huge pfft sound and straightened up and crossed her arms. "give up? you should be one to talk. quit denying what you know will soon come." she yelled. it will only make it worse in the end she thought with her eyes still watching all of them closely.

Tawny moved closer to Raito. Lilith was farther away now so she wouldn't be able to hear what she said next. "I was wrong. The Catacombs entrance is there..." She nodded in the direction of a building up the street a bit and on the opposite side. She'd looked around after giving Balthazar the directions and had realized it then. She'd been unable to share her findings with the other humans though before Lilith had attacked."If we get there, we can get down and be fine."

"Take Balthazar with you first. I'm not trying to defend my pride here, but since I'm...not human as it is, it's more important to get the two of you in first." He muttered back, lips barely moving as his eyes traced Lilith's every movement, "We'll only get one shot before the rest of them catch up." Of course he was referring to the other vampires, they were sure to have noticed them by now.

lilith hissed noticing they were whispering amunst themselves. "planning anything wont work." she said as her eyes glitted with a dark and deadly feircness about them. before they could say anything else she darted through the pack of them and let her claws knaw into the face of tawny. she then quickly retreated and licked the blood off her claws. she smiled as a bit of her strength returned and felt the need for more.

Tawny nodded, grudgingly accepting that he was right. She grabbed Balthazar's arm and pulled him with her, very quickly, across the street. "Don't get yourself caught Raito! I'll be back soon." She still held her stake tightly in her hand, ready for anything.

Raito placed himself in front of Lilith, "So love, how do you want to do this?" he asked, ignoring the fact that she was licking blood off her fingers. He opened his mouth again to ask a question and then paused, "What would happen to one...who was bitten by both a vampire and werewolf...repeatedly?" He was curious, since he obviously wasn't human anymore, but neither was he a werewolf or a vampire. So...what was he?

lilith smiled newly energized by even a small amount of blood. "well. ive only heard it happen once before but didnt stay long enough to confirm what i heard." she paced around her eyes not leaving him and smiled, "it depends on which side your genes hooked onto. the more dominant gene mixes with your human genes and you will become either a full vampire or a full werewolve." she tapped one of her bloody claws on her neck and sighed. "you know. i could have another tast of your blood and make sure you become full vampire instead of werewolve...that is...if you want to become a killing machine. at least if your a vampire you will only kill when needed." she shrugged and added. "it makes no difference to me. you wont be human either way. so you mean nothing to me."

Tawny was fully across the street and looking back across when she felt the wound on her face for the first time. It stung badly but definetely wasn't life threatening. The wounds weren't very deep, but still, any facial injury bled a lot. She gritted her teeth at the burning sensation and the blood that ran down her cheek. Even she could smell it. She growled. "Raito! You go with Bal. I'm gonna kill her!" She let her anger show in her voice for the first time as she tightened her grip on her stake. Reaching behind her she pulled another one, her last one, into her hand.

Raito nodded slowly to Lilith, "And what if my genes don't hook onto any?" he asked. Then he was startled by Tawny's voice, he muttered a curse under his breath and turned his back on Lilith. Bad idea of course. "No, just go! I'll take care of her. The others will be expecting you back. Sirius already thinks I'm dead meat anyway!""

Shaking her head Tawny ran over quickly. One arm was cocked back in a throwing position in case Lilith decided to try anything. "Raito, go. Now. Seriously. I've got a better chance of exterminating this vermin."

"Is this your anger speaking or your heart?" Raito asked, not budging. Unless she gave him a good reason to leave he wasn't going to budge, "Give me one reason why i should go. No one's expecting me back alive and I could probably turn into one of them and hurt you or the others in the process."

lilith sighed, "its such a shame when i see children fighting. now, the arties just beggining. dont leave so soon..." she pouted like a child and stomped her feet. she obviously was enjoying their company in a way that was obviously demented. she smiled and eyed tawny closely watching her every move. she is so predictable lilith thought smirking. she playfully skipped over to them dodging any attempt at an attack if they made any. she skipped around them until she got dizzy and giggled like a child. "1 2 im coming for you 3 4 lock your door 5 6 grab your crucifix 7 8 better stay up late..." she giggled

"Children. I do believe you are the child Lilith. Prancing about as if you were 5 years old." Tawny shook her head in a condescending way. "What a shame. I never did like kids." She smirked as she let her head fall forward just a bit. She watched every move the vampire made, never once loosening her hold on the silver stakes in her hands. "As for you Raito." She said offhandedly. "You need to go because you are weak right now. Your injuries make you unable to fight efficiently and if you were to do so you would probably die. Until the time that you actually try and kill any of us, you're still a friend and comrade. Now go!"

lilith stopped in her tracks when tawny called her a child. she graciously looked up and smirked. "i act like this for fun. its too boring to be so serious all the time." then she made her best frowny face at tawny. "its because you werent held enough as a child werent you?" she watched as tawny gripped the stakes harder and smiled. "now we will have some fun." she crouched down and wiggled her butt in the air. she grabbed one of her hairpins out of her lonf flowy hair and watched it fly through the air towards tawny. then, lilith ran. just befor it hit tawny's right eye. lilith caught it and smiled. "betcha cant run faster than me." she said. then she quickly cartwheeled behind her and stabbed it into the back of her leg.

"Ha!" Tawny snorted and spun. By the time Lilith was plucking the pin from the air she had turned and sliced two deep gouges into the vampires arm. The stakes cut through the flesh as easily as if it were butter. "I'm as fast as you leech. I'm stronger because you've not fed. There's no way you can beat me." She fell into her crouch easily. She laughed again as she saw the vampire still standing there thinking that she'd stabbed her.

lilith watched amazed at what tawny, a mere human, could do. she felt the pain in her arm but ignored it. she wouldnt have gotten to me if i could just snab some blood from her! she thought. she quickly retreated a couple more feet and got into her fighting stance as well. she had nothing as a weapon other than her hairpin, which she failed to stab into her leg. she looked around for any sort of weapon and succesfully caught the glint of something shining on the street a bit further down the street. it was a regular pocket knife but anything would do at this point. she jumped and rolled over to retreave it and looked up with a smile on her face. not the best but still waaay better than a hairpin she thought.

"Do you believe me now bloodsucker?!" Tawny demanded, the dangerous, burning light in her eyes. "Do you believe that you were wrong about me? Do you finally believe that you are going to die the final death today?!" Tawny appeared to finally have snapped. Her eyes were cold and calculating but dead now other than that. Her face was emotionless as well. The cuts on her cheek pulled whenever she talked but the pain barely registered in her mind. Adrenaline coursed through her blood making her smile inwardly. The more adrenaline the faster I'll move. She'll never know what hit her...

lilith smiled and looked calmly at tawny. she was obviously phyco but didnt know it. her cheek was now fully red with blood from her earlier injury. "jeez tawny tone it down and maybe that facial defect would heal. though we both know you wont." she laughed. then lilith got the greatest idea. tawny was bleeding. she just so happened to be bleeding...blood. lilith parted her lips and sighed licking her lips at the thought. she walked around tawny slowly looking for any opening...she wasnt finding one. "so tawny, where do you shop? i get all my clothes from the abandoned mall a couple miles down south." she smirked and continued circling inward toward tawny.

Tawny said nothing as Lilith circled her. She turned on her heel so that she was always facing the vampire. Immediately the human noticed that the vampire was drawing nearer. She grinned and spun the stakes in her hands so that the blades extended downward.

lilith got into reaching distance and crouched down and tripped tawny so fast even she couldnt catch up. the stakes were still in her hands but lilith quickly pinned her down so she couldnt do anything. she smiled widely at her plan beginning to work. she was completely over tawny restraining her hands and feet and she bent down an inch from her face, as if to kiss her. then stopped at the last second and licked almost all of the blood from tawny's face. she laughed like a maniac and whispered, "now even the wind wont be able to catch up with me."
