Lyna blushed when he kissed her forehead, blushing even more when he called her love, she slipped from his lap and stood up. She swayed slightly because she was still tired, she took a few steps towards Batara, her foots steps were heavy, she let deep impressions where she walked at. “Come here and let me take the quills out of you.” she said to the female Unai as she sat down on the ground closer to where she was at. She kept a eye on the porcupine, she glanced back at Shusuke, smiling and blushing even more at him, she turned her head quickly away and turned her attention back on Batara.

((*all eyes turn to Es*))

Esmme took a quick breath when Batara yelped, and was rather surprised to find that the beast that shuffled out of the brush was closest to her. Glancing to the others, and then to Raiden, Esmme slowly took a step back, hoping she wouldn't startle the porcupine.

Shusuke was on his feet soon after he heard Batara yelp, and moved to stand with Lyna as she inspected the Unai's recent wounds. "Don't make any sudden movements," he said in a calm voice, watching as Esmme tried to disengage from the animal. His silver eyes flashed with a bit of worry, but the elf stood still. The less movement and annoyance toward the porcupine, the better.

Rather than walking up to Lyna like the girl had requested, Batara lay not far away from her as she began licking her wounds. Her ears were down and she yelped slightly when her tongue would brush over one of the quills. She didn't want to pull them out though, she knew how painful that was so rather she just bit at the skin like it itched or something. She didn't want worry about the animal that had harmed her, Raiden was out there and he would keep them safe.

Raiden heard Shusuke's orders but either way he hadn't made any attempt to attack the plump creature. He just held his ground, her paws spread across the dirt lowering his body, and growled at the creature. He knew his sister was in pain and a part of him wanted to help her but he knew the others could try, even though they would have fun getting close to her.

Lyna looked up at Shusuke worriedly, she then turnned her eyes back to Batara, she crawled towards the female unai. Once she was close to her, she pushed her head away from where she was bitting herself. "Stop it your only going to irrate it more." she whispered softly to the girl, she looked around and saw that they were no where close to the water. She sighed heavily before she held both hands over a nearby plant, she flicked her hand, the plant died almost instantly but her hands where covered in water. She then placed them into a moon beam, making the water look like liquid silver instead. She placed her hands careful at the base of the quills, she focused as much as she could, the water had a soothing effect, she used her other hand to start and pull the quills out. She tried hard not to hurt her anymore then she already was, once she had tugged the last quill out, she fell back, more tired then she was before.

Kayla sat on her bed looking out the window with her brother at her side. She was wearing a white dress and her hair in a braid. "What do you think this season will bring?" She asked Hunter.
Hunter sighed and looked at his sister. "I have no clue." He was wearing black pants, and a white shirt. "Who do you think we will meet?"
Kayla looked up at her brother and smiled. "Not a clue."

((Heey! ^_^ We're all outside of town in the nearby forest, near a rocky area. :yes: We'll be moving sometime, but I'm not sure when. :lol:))

Esmme took a deep breath, slowly continuing to back away. "Will it follow me?" she asked over her shoulder. When she got no response, she turned her head to look at the others. Unfortunately, this was a mistake. She immediately tripped over a small stone, falling flat on her back with a loud "oomph."
Scrambling backward in panic, the human looked back to the porcupine, who was looking a bit frazzled at having something so interesting not that far from him.

Kayla took her brother's hand. "You want to go get something to eat. I need some meat right now." She smiled and pulled her brother up.
Hunter got up and walked with her out the door. "Do you know where this so called dinner is?"
"Humph, you always have to get into the little details." Kayla ran outside in her nice shoes and pulled her brother behind her. "Did you gain weight, you are harder to pull around." She laughed and ran away from him.
Hunter laughed and started to chase his sister around the courtyard. They were laughing just like little kids in Kindergarten. He grabbed her arm. "Common it might be full." He let her lead the way to the dinner.
Once they got there, Kayla sat down at a table with her brother across from her.

Batara growled and tried to snap at Lyna when she first started trying to help her, but it seemed that as soon as she had tried to do that all of the quills had been pulled out. Looking at her still sore hide she moved closer to the female and rubbed against her, a sign of thanks. Well that's what it would have been given that she didn't get bored with it part way through and just collapsed on her lap, resting her head on her paws. She was done for the night.

Normally Raiden would have laughed at Esmme falling, much as he had done with his sister, but there was a crisis. Of course that didn't mean he didn't have to fight the laughter back but he didn't let it hinder him from jumping in front of the girl. His eyes remained glued on the porcupine, his growl becoming more threatening. The creature didn't seem fazed though, on the contrary, it just turned around and hobbled past the rock and into the woods.

Slowly sitting up, Esmme made her way over to Raiden, wrapping an arm about his furry shoulders. "Thanks, you big brute, you." Laughing nervously, the human let out a breath before resting her head against the Unai's neck. "I didn't know porcupine's could be so . . . well, freaky."
Brushing her long hair out of her face, Esmme absently rubbed Raiden's slender flank.
"Sorry about freaking out. I should have been calm. The beast might have left a bit sooner that way."

Raiden was thrown off balacne slightly when Esmme hugged him, but it didn't throw him off too bad. Readjusting his footing the black creature slunk its tongue out before licking the human girl, but when she started to rub his side his head fell to one side, his tongue flopping from the action and his foot started thumping the ground. Unai weren't dogs though, they weren't cats either, they were their own species that seemed to share qualities and traits with many other animals.

"Ew," Esmme laughed when he licked her, and began scratching Raiden's neck while he tilted his head, enjoying the fact that he was so . . . well, different. "It must be so fun to be able to shift forms." Smiling, the young woman flung her arms about Raiden again, burying her face in his fur. He smelled like the wild; how you'd imagine the wind smelling. Mystical, strong, and wild. Taking a deep breath, Esmme smiled against the Unai's shoulder. "Thank you, Raiden." Comforting. That's what he was. Even as an animal . . . he was strong and protective over those who needed it.

Lyna smiled down at the Unai that had just plopped her self into her lap, she started to pet her absently as she looked around Shusuke, even though she would never really admit that she had been looking for him. She frowned slightly when she saw that he was a few feet away from them, she wondered if there was something wrong with him. “Shusuke….is everything alright?” she asked him, she blushed slightly before she looked back down at Batara and began to pet her again, she felt sorry that they girl had to go through that ordeal but it was soon to happen sometime or another.

"Everything's calmed down," Shusuke replied, moving a bit closer to Lyna. Watching as Batara wiggled about some, the elf let a smile grace his sharp features. "Esmme will be fine. And so will Batara, it seems."
He knelt beside the two females, letting one of his slender hands move to scratch the Unai's ear.
"You did good," he said to Lyna, his silver eyes remaining on the Unai.

The reaction that Esmme gave when Raiden licked her just put plans into his head more than anything as she drew him closer. Rahter than actually moving he just leaned to her side so that all of his weight was falling onto her. Now the plan was that she would topple over but he wasn't sure if that was what would happen or not. He felt content though, more content than he had even while he was still with his clan. He knew they had always been different and it seemed almost like their little group was slowly forming their own little pack if you could call it that.

Batara, unlike her brother, was worn out after what had just happened and so the attention she was receiving was well taken. It was nice when people weren't afraid of this form, if they weren't people viewed them as pets and attention was always readily welcome among her time. When Shusuke knelt down she felt his body heat and then he started to scratch her. The Unai leaned into the scratching until her head was resting on his leg. She was pretty much trying to trap the attention givers.

“Wh…umm…oh…..umm…..h-h-how did I do good?” she said as she blushed, letting her head drop until it was hidden by her hair, she had stuttered which was a first for her and caused her to blush even more. It was just the comment that he gave her was unexpected and well she was thrown off guard by it, she continued to pet Batara as she thought about it. She smiled as she watched her try to pin Shusuke to the spot also, she chuckled at it some, and she yawned, covering her mouth with her hand. “We need to go before they decide to come and look for us in the morning.” she said loud enough for everyone to hear what she was saying, they had already lingered in the spot far longer then they had intended, she stifled another yawn.

Kayla looked at the menu and decided to get a steak. She did not always like meat, but today she decided to eat some. It was something new to her. She liked new things. She also ordered a water for a drink because she did not like any of their other drinks here.
Hunter looked at his sister with a satisfied smile and then turned to the waitor. He decided to get pasta and some water. He looked at her sister. To him, she was the most beautiful girl on the planet. Even if he had a girlfriend, she would always be the prettiest and funniest girl in the world. They would hopefully always be together, because without her, his world would collapse around him.
Kayla looked back at Hunter, and when the waitor left she asked him, "Are you ok, you look weird. Stop staring at me."
Hunter looked at Kayla and said in a startled voice," Oh, sorry i just was thinking."

Jezzebeth ran as fast as she could as chains flew at her from behind.She had been running for hours and was almost out of breath,in the distance was a water fall.She picked up the pase faster as Danzi flew over head of the dragon hunter.Danzi could not do nothing for iron was like posion to dragons.Jezzebeth picked up the pase and screams in her mind.'Danzi,up ahead theres a waterfall,dont fall behind!'

Danzi snorted.His wing was wounded from the dragon hunter and he was beginning to slow down.The winds flew under his wings making him look so beautiful in the sky as the sun reflected off his red scales.'I wont leave Jezzebeth.'Danzi replied in her mind as a road rang out from his mouth.
