I am sorry I took so long, but that sounds like a good idea to me. THat is if you cant think of something else.

Ookami was happy to stay with her new pack and watch and help them all get better since their incounter with her father. She had gotten a cap on her powers trying to concele them unsure if the others in the pack really knew what had happened that day with her getting ticked. She felt that they all knew though she didn't like how her powers made her act and she didn't want any of them to see that. She was quite happy that her and Rae had a very strong relationship that seemed to only get stronger as that month passed though nothing ever happened... she didn't know really if she was ready for a mate so she would just wait until she felt the need and true want to have one.

Ookami sighed as she laid at the mouth of the cave being on guard this time instead of one of the others. She was generally the one that was the look out at night since she wasn't as weakened as the others though now that they were better she would take shifts with one of the others. She lifted her head as she heard something and lept to her feat growling and getting into a croutch as she sensed an intruder. Something tugged at her and she didn't know what though she went out of the cave and soon saw another wolf making her snarl at him. He was a large intimidating black and deep purple wolf with red eyes and large midnight wigs. He was also wearing a collar like Ookami's that held an orb that looked to be just pure dark crimson though did have a dark light that would spark in it looking like a star or flame though it never stayed the same color and was always changing.

Instantly they got into a fight and both took some major damage though the other wolf was much much larger then Ookami and soon pinned her down biting at her roughly. She let out yelps and cries for the others to hear her though fell partially silent as the orb on her ow collar started glowing and she whimpered some still struggling to get out from under the larger wolf who just kept her pinned as she struggled more and more thrashing about as the light from the orbs flashed and it seemed to cause her some pains for some unknown reason.

Rae was checking on the small and the weak. Some of them hadn't fully recovered from the battle and where still weak. He was a little weak but his strengh was coming back every day. Yet he had to show he was strong for his pack, had to show that they weren't weak. It was a tough job being the alpha of a pack but he was happy to help them as much as he could and now that he had Ookami by his side he was happy.

HIs relationship with her grew every day and he loved spending time with her. But he knew that she might not be ready for a mate so he made sure that she knew that. He didn't want to preasure her into something that she didn't want to do. So he would wait till she was happy. Yet when he heard her weak yelp he knew something was wrong and instantly his fur was up and he was charging out of there. He saw her being pinned and instantly anger filled him, no one hurt her.

He rammed into teh black wolf side and started to fight him. He bit into his neck and then jumped away from him and stood inbetween him and Ookami, "are you okay?" he asked as he watched the wolf. He didn't like him at all and wondered what he was doing here and who he was.

Ookami whimpered softly as she laid there unmoving. "Not really... don't fight him Rae... please he'll kill you" she whimpered softly as she looked up to him softly. "Yes listen to the weakling and you won't die. You don't have a clue about her anyway do you?" The wolf smirked and Ookami whimpered as both of the collars flashed again.

Rae growled at him but stayed where he was. "I dont need to knwo anything about her to know that I care about her. So just back off." he said and then looked at Ookami. He licked her head gently, "and I will only fight if he tries to hurt you again." he said to her softly and stayed close to her. He wished that he was stronger and coudl protect her better, but he was only as strong as a wolf.

"He doesn't have to try..." Ookami whined softly and the wolf seemed to grin a bit at this. "Ah come on Akuma I know you're just bursting and ready to let your true colors show." the wolf chuckled a bit as Ookami whined again the orb on her collar glowing almost darkly as she was loosing her grip on herself. "Rae move please.... I don't want to hurt you... I might not be able... to hold it!" she whimpered holding her head a bit more and tighter feeling pained as her powers were tearing at her to let them out.

Rae looked at her worryed and didn't want to move. He frowned and licked her head gently, "fine but if something happens to you I am chaseing after." he said to her softly and then moved away from her. He could only watch and feel completely and utterly helpless. Why couldnt' he have more power? He would be able to help them. It was exactly like a month ago, she had done everything and he had hardly done anything. Why did he have to be so weak?

The other wolf smirked at this though Ookami nodded softly. "Huh you've become soft since I last saw you Akuma(btw it means Demon XP) has this boy done this to you or have you just let yourself go?" the male grinned and Ookami whimpered again though slowly got to her feat. Her anger was slowly starting to rise and with it her powers did also. "I bet you would loose." he smirked and she growled deeply as she glared at him and he tossed his head a bit egging her on to fight him. Slowly her form glew a soft white and her fur changed to white with aqua markings and cristle blue eyes. She let out a snarl taking a deffensive position before charging at the other wolf as they started to fight and both seemed very very strong... this was not a fight for a normal wolf shifter in the least.

Rae could only watch as ookami transformed and watched them. They where powerfully and he felt usless, complety and utterly useless. Why did he have to be only a wolf shifter? Why couldn't he be stringer and fight along side her like how a alpha was suppose to. But she was far more stronger them him. So he could only watch.

Ookami yelped as she was forced to the ground and squirmed to get free. There was a good reason for their fighting despis how it seem to just come out of nowhere... It was almost spring... Mating season, and this would happen just about every year. He wanted to mate with her to get the pups that would take her powers and one would get the orb. He would more then likely kill all the others that couldn't hold the orb then when he could wean the pup he would take it away from her and kill her... That's the only reason why they were really fighting and why he wants her.

Rae watched and dispare, anger and sadness filled him. He couldn't even fight for the woman he liked and wanted as a mate. She deserved someone with more power, someone who could stand with her in a fight. He walked into his cave and gave a few orders to his strongest wolves. They went outside and watched the fight. If it looked like ookami was losing they would jump in. Rae then just seemed to dissappear.

Ookami looked to where Rae was supposed to be and whined when she didn't see him though then saw a few of the others. She couldn't get up and she was hurting too much to try and fight him off again. Though she still struggled and growled at him trying her hardest and finally got him off. She jumped back and got into a crouch where she could easily attack or deffend though it looked like she was tired and weak right now from the fight. They then faught a bit more before the other wolf bit her roughly in the neck making her bleed crippling her forcing her to the ground. "You know... I would have never left my lovers side even for a second... what kind of lover would?" the grinned some as she whimpered and put her head down finally just giving up unable to fight anymore. "You win..." she whimpered in a whispered tone and he smirked grabbing her by the nap of her neck and picking her up as he started to move away from the cave leaving the wolves that were outside be almost as though he didn't even know that they were there.

The other wolves all growled and when they saw they where taking her away they all moved. It was as if they where one huge wolf and they all attacked like it. They may not be strong one on oen but they where strong when they worked together. THey all bit and fought till they managed to get Ookami away and they all growled at him. "we where left with orders to keep her safe and we will. Rae hasn't left her and he never would unless it was for a reason. If you want to show how much of a wolf you are then let there be a fight." said one and the others all carried Ookami back to the den and kept her there. THe other wolf stayed outside and stared at the wolf that tried to take her. "our alpha gave me a message. He will fight you for the rights to keep Ookami his, if you deny this challege then you are weak if you accept then you may fight for her in a week." he said as he looked at him. THe other wolves started to clean her wounds and looked at her. Then someone whispered, "Rae will come, he always will for you."

Ookami looked up weakly to the wolf and seemed to smile a bit nodding though soon laid her head down and closed her eyes her ears pulling back as she hurt more and more and was bleeding badly. "Where did he go?" she whispered in a weak voice only whispering because she was hurting so much and was so weak. This happened every time and she was sick of it... though there was nothing she could do to stop it... this would always happen as long as that wolf lived... and she was the only one strong enough to kill him though she didn't like how she acted when she was able to fight him... she felt evil and horrible.

They started to patch up her wounds and the one wolf licked her cheek, "he went to a place only few wolves go. When he returns he will be stronger then most wolf shifters would believe." he said as he looked at her and then remembered she hasn't always been in a pack so she wouldn't know. "do you know the tale of the Rintima forest?" he asked her softly and smiled once he saw that the bleeding had stopped. She would be fine and hopefully Rae would come back stronger.

Ookami thought some and shook her head quietly "No I have never heard of such a tale... how do you know he'll be stronger?... I'm worried that if they fight Haren'll kill him... he's a very, very strong wolf... he's like me... he's not normal in the least and he could easily kill someone... I've watched him take down ten wolves in five minutes before... it was frightening." she whispered softly shivering some at the memory of the wolves death and how each of them struggled and screamed to get free though he showed no mercy to them.

The wolf smiled at her, "if that is only how strong he is then we have no fear. for when Rae comes back from the forest he will be far stronger then most wolves wuld believe possible." he said as he looked at her and smiled at her. "In the tale of Rintima's forest there is the first of all the wolf shifters. HIs name was Troy Rintima but he never planned on being a shifter. He had once been a human, he had watched the wolves that lived near his village and wished to be like one. He wished to be part of something. But one day he heard that the villagers where planning on killing them, the wolves where moving towards them and coming into the village. So they had to eliminate them before they started to kill them. When Troy heard this he couldn't bare it, he had to save the wolves. So he went to a forest, it was forbiden for it was said the god's had made it with there own hands. He thought that maybe if he went in there and contacted the gods they might be able to help him. When he got to the forest and prayed to the gods they heard them. So they showed him the way to a pond, if he drank from the pond he would gain power from the land and become apart of it. So he drank and as he did his body gained more power then anyone else and he became part of the land, he became what he wanted to defend do dearly. As a wolf he told the other wolves what was to come and they got ready to defend each other. The humans soon came and they fought a battle, it was big but only a few died and in the wolves won with the help of Troy. When they saw he was a human they wished to be able to be like him and he showed them the pond. They where the first wolf shifter pack and there blood runs threw all of us." he said as he looked at her. "Rae is going to the forest to drink from the pond, he will gain strenght and be able to help us more." he said as he smiled.

"Wow... though what if the real thing he wants to deffend is me? If that is true then he might gain other powers... powers that he wouldn't be able to control. Did you guys ever hear the tale of Bara Ookami and the orb holding great and devistating powers?" she asked softly waiting to see what they said... she would tell them now... they wouldn't hurt her she knew it so she was scared of them knowing now.

The wolf thought for a second and then shook his head, "I am not familiar with that story. Please tell us." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He wanted to know.

"Bara Ookami was and is one of the strongest known wolf shifters that has ever lived... though she had been possessed by something evil at some point in her life. After a few years of this she met her mate and the forces separated one going to her mate the other going to her. She had the better of the two and had pure intentions while her mate had turned to the opposite. Many years passed and she finally made her choice though before she could do anything the powers took her over along with her mate and they began fighting. The two fought almost to the point of death though before either got too close to death a Maje came up and helped. She sealed the powers of the two wolves away in two separate orbs and the mates separated even though their bond was strong and they loved each other. Many many years later Bara had a litter and the strongest female had gotten the orb and was the new care taker of it. It skips generations and so after about 6 generations I got the light orb that Bara Ookami had... I am one of her direct descendant. The male wolf also had a litter and that same thing happened and now that other wolf... his name is Haren.... he has the dark orb and for the last two generations the dark wolf has been trying to mate with the light wolf then kill her... that's what he was planning on doing to me." Ookami explained softly remembering the story clearly.

The wolf frowned and then smiled and licked her head gently. "dont worry, Rae will be fine and he would never let the dark one get you. He only wishes to protect what is precious to him and to be strong for the people he cares for. He will do everything he can and wont stop fighting for you till his last breath. The power wont go to his head for there is only one thing on his mind and that is you.' he said as he looked at her.
