It seems like the gods are smiling on y'all because my computer crashed and will not turn back on so we'll just have to extend the timeline until it is fixed and I can actually get to the full story Seri and I worked on before the event. Probably a fail whale motherboard.

Mythos- You can usually retrieve data off of the drive especially if you're sure it's the motherboard... just take the hard drive out of the computer, and then plug it as a secondary drive into a happy and working desktop, and then you can pull over the file...

It is a compact laptop so I can't even access the battery without specialized equipment otherwise I would be all over that.

Lack of computer isn't hurting your fashion sense, though!

There have been very few theories entered compared to the number of people who played, so I think the extension is a good thing. Hopefully more people will submit their guesses! I can't wait to read what other people thought of, and especially find out what the heck actually happened, haha!

Asus is sending a box over tomorrow so it can be as little as a week before I get this puppy back. It was under the manufacturer's warranty being 4 months old and all.

Technical problems have forestalled the great reveal for the end of this mystery which has awarded y'all at least a few more days to formulate and submit your theories-- so far only 10 theories have made it is out of just shy of 90 players! Because you all took part in the event thread I wanted to be certain you were all made aware of the extension in case you ran out of time the first time around.

I'm looking forward to seeing some more theories! Remember... there are still more prizes to be awarded here!
