I once tried, didn't succeed very well. So, I forgot about that. I guess I was picking colors from wrong spots.

I use Paint Shop Pro, and when the colors come up, it will also gives the HTML code for the color you have selected. I usually have PSP opened, so it wasn't too hard to just pluck the colors straight from the image. xD

It's always the darkest and lightest colors. Though I have had some success with using the darkest color only as well. When you use the individual color selector on Mene, it will automatically change the hue while it gets brighter? It's strange.

There's color picker tool on gimp, that kind of can be used same way. Never figured it would be darkest/lightest tones for correct hexes, tho, thanks!

Most painting type programs will let you use a color picker tool-- some of them will let you pick the color from your browser, but most you have to save the image and open it with the program. You use the tool and pick a color-- say I wanted the exact shade of purple in my current background. I can save the image, open with, say, GIMP and use the color picker tool... then if I double-click on the color window I can get the hex value-- in this case #d38cf0.

Does that help at all, or did I completely misunderstand your confusion? I'm bad to pontificate on things and miss the point entirely.

The whole process takes about 20 seconds. I typically don't even have to save the image, just copy it in the browser then paste it as a new image. Also I usually zoom in to see what I'm actually clicking on xD

So ... it somehow gives you both the dark and light codes? Whatever you were saying about that is what really confused me.

I'm not sure fire alpaca gives the code itself... but i do know how to use the dropper in it :D My confusion was I thought you were saying something about there being some thing on menewsha that did it for you.

Whichever color you have selected it gives the html color code. So the color it is showing is the darkest. If I select the lightest color (when I find it and pick it up) then it'll show me that code.

I might have been confusing you with the talk about the single color hair you can select on Mene.
