Ahhh I'm so jealous. That's so fun! <3 No one ever asks me to edit stuff and I don't know how to get into the field. XD

It's more a philosophy than a specific religion, but I lump it as religion since it's such a core belief for me.

Thank you so much! I don't want to include too much of Islam in what he does day to day, I don't want to get distracted with such detail when there are so many characters with so so many religions and so many different details to fill this world, but it's also VERY important to include what would effect his actions.
If I'm unsure again, I will come and ask you. Though honestly I will try and work it out myself first as that's the best way to learn.

Theology is the best subject. I have so much fun looking it up. It's a pity it's frowned on so hard here.

I dunno how I became "editor". I edited my friend's work one day and then the girl behind me asked for me to edit hers and then whole class was giving me their stuff. I should have charged them =_=
Heh, even my English teacher gave me an essay from another class to mark. That essay... my stomach hurt so much from laughing after I was done. I think the teacher gave it to me on purpose

Damn! I so interested in that story now!
I have you put up any other snippets on tumblr.?

I dunno why people get so freaked out when religion is concerned. Too judgemental, I suppose >_>

Editors do check for spelling and grammar, but I think they also make suggestions about formatting or wording.

Lots of stuff about syntax~ Working out is a phrase is correct, helping it make scene, taking out excess in places, ect.

I have a few, though my older writings are worse. They're under the tag 'Seasonal Heraldry' if you know how to find those. I think I have a link up the top as 'fae'. I have lots of art under that tag too. lots of poc and minorities of different sorts. I don't always mention them outright though and people have been believing they were all strait up white. >BC rawr. Getting better at making it CLEAR they aren't just British fairies.

Whelp. Publishers aren't always right. See: The dozen or so publishers that turned down Harry Potter.

It's fun. I know a lot of people who find it tedious, and I'm annoying because I honestly can't watch someone write without trying to fix it up as they go. I'm like; at least punctuate omg DX

I'm not a good editor. I can "sense" bad writing, but I can't communicate that to thers.

Anyone remember the kerfuffle about her 'stealing' the writing from someone? They had a huge current affairs segment on it and then never followed up.
I remember mum hated JKR. She used to say all sorts of mean stuff and keep calling her writing bad stuff. When the writing changed suddenly in goblet of fire she kept talking about how JKRs ghost writer must have died or something.

Oh some unsuccessful Australian writer with a similarly named protagonist kept calling stations until they hosted her story claiming JKR stole her work. Right now I would laugh and call it a hoax but at the time mum believed it (always so quick to believe anything proving a girl couldn't be good at any job) so I did too and I was HEART BROKEN as you can imagine.
