Meh, I'm sort of glad Matt Smith isn't traditionally good looking. It means if I am ever attracted to him it's due to his acting skills. XD

I agree with Kat.. I'm glad the Doctor usually isn't traditionally good looking actually, it just wouldn't suit him.

He's cute and ugly at the same time. He has no eyebrows and a very large brow...I like his chin but I also think that Bruce Campbell is the hottest thing this side of the Mississippi.

I just read the promo is going to be shown in 3D in cinemas (I heard Alice in Wonderland specifically mentioned) which might also go towards explaining the vortex-y, things jumping out-y nature of it.

If anyone goes to see the new Alice in Wonderland can you let me know if it's a flop or not? I'd appreciate it.

The newest Doctor Who promo, Taiyo.

I don't typically like Tim Burton remakes. When Nightmare came out, everyone scoffed. Ten years later and it's like a golden poop. Everyone loves it. Back when Burton was a precious commodity, I didn't find him so annoying. Now that I see him everywhere, I feel that it all gets so old, so very, very fast.

I used to love Tim Burton with all my heart, when I was an angsty teenager. Nowadays I like him and his imagination and creativity a lot, but I hate the whole scene around him. I'm pretty excited about Alice in Wonderland though. It doesn't look like it'll look terribly original, but it has an amazing cast and it's bound to be at least good entertainment.

Kat, I love the ZP picture in your sig. xD

I was young enough that when Nightmare came out I liked it because of the music but I was completely oblivious to who had created it. It was just neat. I watched it, enjoyed it and ran off to find something else to play with after it was over.

I'm curious about the Alice in Wonderland movie but not so curious that I'd fight hoards of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton fans. I think the real kicker for me is that anymore these days Johnny Depp is everywhere. We'd better keep our eyes peeled - he may just end up in our Doctor Who!

I think Johnny Dep is over rated, tbh. Tim Burton uses him all the time. I loved Ed Wood and Edard Scissorhands but...arg. It just gets old, you know?

Alice is only being shown in 3D at the cinema here so I probably won't see it. :/

Zero Punctuation always makes me happy. Yahtzee (which Chrome spell-checker wants to change to Abernathy for some reason) is a legend. I want his book to come out quicker, it looks interesting.

I think Johnny Depp is a great actor, but also completely overrated. I thought Ed Wood was great, especially since it was quite a different style for Burton and that's always refreshing, especially from someone with such a pronounced style as him.

Kat, why won't you go see it because it's in 3D? Just because it's a bit more expensive?
I haven't watched ZP for a while, it gets a bit boring for me after a while because I don't know any of the games he's talking about, but I watch a video every now and then, and it always makes me laugh. He's publishing a book? What about?
(Also, Abernathy wtf? How does that make more sense than Yahtzee?)

Mostly because it's more expensive and a little bit because I haven't seen a film in full proper 3D yet and I don't want to see something scary/creepy first. :/

On none Katie-is-weird topics:
Quote:
Set for release in August of 2010, Mogworld tells the story of Jim, a minor MMORPG character who dies in a magic-school accident, only to be reanimated 60 years later by a renegade necromancer.
(from The Escapist)
If you go to Yahtzee's site too (fullyramblomatic.com) the update about Mogworld is still on the front page. ^^

Hallo Otaku. Easter isn't that far away. ^_~

Go see Avatar in 3D - if you like shiny things and impressive visuals, it's completely worth paying a little more for. :D

Hah, that sounds interesting.. especially in the hands of Yahtzee. xD

My personal choice of geek-in-a-hat is Linkara but it's not like I'd say no to Yahtzee. XD

I have episodes of SJA that have been on desktop iPlayer forever, oops.

I'm in homework hell. I can't concentrate at all! I have to have my report done on 12 March, but I just can't keep my mind on my school work!
