haha, well at least for a little bit. xD i'm at the in-laws.

I'm being annoyed by my little brother-in-law.
He makes my daughter cry >.> he likes to pick her up when she's asleep and content when everyone is out of the room. And five seconds later when we run back in because she's screaming she's in his arms... that screams to me he made her cry

and right now she's sitting in front of me in her rocker.. and was content. and than he started bugging her, and shaking the bouncer. and Pi#*@#g her off... WHY DOES HE INSIST ON UPSETTING MY DAUGHTER?

Shadami: How old is the person doing this?

Cora: Ouchie. I think it can take up to a week for for the pain to go away. More if it get infected. Did they give you any meds to take after?

Hmm actually I'm not sure I've never had fillings. I had a tooth removed and that's what I was talking about.

Wisdom teeth isn't too bad, I got put under and was loopy for like 2 days due to the pills. It's fine as long as you don't get a dry socket (I didn't, but one of my friends did).

.... Do not have them at the same time.
I've never had a root canal but I watched my mother get them. XD She was severely sick because it affected her sinuses and it took forever for her to feel better. It's like a mini blue parachute in your mouth, as they isolate the tooth they're working on.

For wisdom teeth... I had them taken out when I was 13? I can't stand the pain of needles, so I cried until I blacked out when they were injecting me with the pain/knock out stuff and the doctor kept asking: "How are you doing? Are you okay? I need you to answer me." But I blacked out after that and then woke up in the car, screaming and blood came out of my mouth.

Had three types of medicine to take for preventing infection, painkillers and something else. My moms ex bf was a fruit loop and told me I had to take all 3 and I did. Then I couldn't keep any pudding or jello down and kept throwing up. It was awful T . T; After that tarded moment, I only ate on certain sides of my mouth because the stitches and swollen skin inside my mouth felt funny. I made sure to stay away from savory or salted/peppered soft foods or pop. I mainly just stuck to pudding and jello the whole time since anything like PB&J will stick up back there. I also don't recommend any kind of soup because it has salt in it and you'll regret eating anything hot/warm, while it's healing.

My brother had his taken out when he was 12? 11? He cried while we waited for our mom to go into CVS to get his medicine. He denies it, though. That's because he can't remember anything because his head was still lolly gagging from the surgery knock out juice.

And no, fillings are not supposed to hurt afterwards.
They'll jam that neon glowing blow dryer on them and if it's bad, then they will give you a needle. I've never had that problem with fillings, though. Just filing, that nasty fill in liquid and then the blow dryer because I've only had 1 cavity in my whole life and that was with a baby tooth... which also has another story to it. XD

@Miro - I had all four wisdom teeth taken out at once....it was terrible. I was 20 or 21 years old...never had surgery before in my entire life....so I was terrified. I went to the consult where they played this informational video I had to watch and it was like, "Rarely patients die" so I started freaking out because RARELY is not NEVER. So they were like, "we're going to give her Vallium to take the night before so she calms down and sleeps and also the morning of...then we are going to knock her out" because I was reallly reallly upset XD

So I don't remember anything from the night before or the morning of...except for when they stuck the IV in me...I remember that because I remember a picture of a heron on the wall in front of me and I was SCREAMING at them to stop....and then I remember nothing after that.

My parents say that when we got home my stepdad had to half carry me in the house because I was walking sideways toward the ditch next to it...

So they gave me painkillers as well after the surgery which I took...and I couldn't walk straight or eat something for a week. It was terrible. I've never been high on anything before but I'm pretty sure I was high on the medications they gave me. My body is really small...so I usually take kids doses of medications...but they gave me full on prescriptions for adults and so it really had an effect on me.

Then I went back for the follow up where they found blood had backed up in the holes.....and the doctor poked my gums with a pointy stick thing and I cried so badly...it hurt SO Badly.

Between the blood backing up and the medication I was loopy for 2 weeks...and couldn't eat solid food for two weeks. D:

It's not as bad as my best friend though - after her surgery her cheeks ballooned up and turned black and blue for a couple months D:

In contrast though - both my brothers had their wisdom teeth removed and two hours later were eating solid food XDD It just depends on the person, the doctor, and your ability to bounce back after surgeries.

In my case, medication has a serious effect on me so I usually avoid it or take childrens doses.

In my best friend's case - they said she has sensitive skin/gums....so it just happened to turn out that way.

yeah... but i'm always in that rare case slot...

example : my pregnancy
Not only did i get a RARE case of pregnancy rash. But i ended up also getting rare case of preeclampsia T.T causing my first surgery ever!

and yes... pain medicine that dentist and doctors use gives you a high. You were high as a cloud for a day... I was high and thought i WAS a cloud when they gave me the epidural. xD

so blah blah blah in results. omg if i get my wisdom teeth removed i'm gonna die T.T

@ Shadami; Pain must come first before beauty. XD
I don't think many people tell their horrifying moments or can't remember them since it's been so long.

It's best to have wisdom teeth and stuff remove while you're younger.

@ Maria; Why'd you have to wait so long for them to be taken out? ... Videos don't really tell you anything and that was silly. XD My brother and I didn't read up on anything. My mom was nose to the grind stone about our teeth. When the wisdom teeth came, they also went. My cousins weren't so fortunate since their mother is a drug addicted conceited fool. Their* teeth are all overlapped and they slur and spit when they talk.

Picture of heron? Omg... I feel so bad for you. That is a really baaaaaaaaad experience to have. ><;

Eh? Well, you're supposed to have somebody carry you or guide you after you're done with the surgery. That's why the doctors guide you to the side door where you're supposed to have someone receive you. That is a bit funny, though, almost walking into a ditch. xD;

Oh. Well, I know one of the painkillers for me was Hydros. Did you have those? They're the worst kind of painkillers you can get and they make you want to vomit 24/7 when you do take one. It also makes you ill if you eat anything because the after taste doesn't go away for a long while. The other one is an antibiotics but I don't remember the name of... and I can't remember the second painkiller at all. I want to say codeine, though.

... What place did you go to? There's never supposed to be complications like that after they're removed.
Our stitches just fell out when they were ready and for the check up, they removed whatever stranglers were left.

Was your friend highly allergic to something? Ah, I knew it. XD
I have sensitive skin too but they made sure not to use the medicines I'm allergic to.

haha I wasn't just high for a day - I was high for like 5 days...I'm totally serious. I remember having to hold onto the wall just to walk around my house because I was that dizzy and that out of it XD

Damn - I'm so afraid to give birth haha XD With everything my body does with medicines and stuff I'm afraid to get an epidural...but giving birth without it is crazy XD

actually, if i hadn't already had other complications I could have made it without the epidural. But i was having anxiety attacks because of the pain from the preeclampsia. And the fact that if i DIDN"T get her out soon she could have died... the labor was nothing. I breathed through that. :]

@miro
but i don't wanna go to the dentist t.t my teeth are perfect. and my wisdom teeth only just came in. I'm 21 on thursday. They don't hurt or anything. food just gets stuck next to them... cause its kinda crooked.

Miro -
My wisdom teeth actually developed kind of late. When I was younger there was never any sign of them until I was about 14 and they were just developing. Dentist monitored it for a while but they said they couldn't take them out yet because they roots weren't developed and if they took them out too early it would cause damage...I'm not entirely sure why XD

I went to a doctor that specializes with wisdom teeth. I know there could be complications if you don't follow their orders afterwards...like drinking out of a straw when you weren't supposed to...but I followed the directions. I guess my body is just weird XD

They gave me oxycontin....D: Seriously don't know why they would give me that considering we told them before hand about my reaction to drugs. (I also have sensitive skin...I've had hives on my arms, feet, hands, etc for over a year now because of the chemicals at my work place. When it first happened...my family doctor prescribed prednisone...I was had only taken HALF of the pills they wanted me to take so far in the first day when I just started crying for no reason and couldn't stop. I was at work and I just kept saying...I have no reason to cry. I don't know why I'm crying. Why am I doing this? So my boss was like, "STOP taking the pills and go home" lol XDDD She was really nice about it at least....but I have those kind of reactions a lot of pills XD). But they still prescribed me the pills anyway....

Apparently I'm allergic to something that's used in most vaccines and I didn't know this until the hives started and I got tested for a bunch of stuff. And I'm allergic to Balsam of Peru which is used in soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, detergents, etc for fragrances...and also in soda as flavoring....I was like, "WTF?!" so I changed everything and stopped drinking soda XD

I'm about to leave my job in a week and a half and start a new one...i can't wait to see if my hives finally clear up because they started when I started this job....

@ Shadami; Yes, but your teeth will start to deform if you keep them. xD

My mom had an spinal block (where you're awake and see your baby) for my brother but after that crap, she said no more. She didn't want to feel the needle stabbed in her spine again (they don't give you pain killers when they do it. You were lucky to have an epidural first beforehand) and got knocked out when she had me. She had c-section with both of us.

My cousins mother was also supposed to get a c-section since she couldn't give birth the regular way but she said screw it and crushed Anthony's skull as she was pushing him out and had to get an emergency c-section. For Andrew, she went with the c-section.

@ Maria; Oh. o . o; They took mine out when they just a tad half-way poking out.
I don't really remember how far my brothers was.

I bet they screwed something up, secretly. xD

eeccck! Oxy is another worse kind of painkiller! eh... I'm sorry. Don't you have to wear suits due to the chemicals in a work place like that? There's going to be an after effect if you're surrounded by stuff like that, which messes with your medicine. But it doesn't surprise me because those who have sensitive reactions like you, have a hard time finding what pills that actually works for you and doesn't get you sick. My mother has the same problem. The doctors usually like to say it's "All in your head" and keep prescribing you the same dosage or a off-name dosage but it'll make you twice as sick.

... Seriously? That really sucks!
I'm allergic to detergents like Tide, Gain and whatever generic stuff. I also can't have the use of fabric softener in my clothes. It irritates my skin since I inherited Eczema. I haven't had a problem with that before, though. I guess over the years, the cheap detergents have ate away my resilience. I always wondered why I got red rashes. T . T;

I hope it does get better for you too. That is an awful experience!

nah. you still feel the needle going in even with the epidural. the epidural beforehand just saved me from having an anxiety attack. Needle is the worse part, but its only for a little bit and than its done. and you go completely numb
