Haine rubbed her head where the case hit it. "Ow!" She said.

And then....KABOOM. The rings released their power, and the only one who could control it was the girl who threw them in the first place.

Well, that and the hole in the floor...

"Kamikaze thought that too about her little curse, but now...she knows that it's breakable." Melhana said. She let a little of her power dance in her eyes. "If there's one thing that even newbie mages learn, is that there's no such thing as an 'unbreakable' curse. Sure, they can come damn close, but every curse or spell has its limit. You just need to find yours."

"What the fudge is THAT?" Rei exclamed, as Sakura rushed in to find out what happened, then looked at the hole. "Oh crap......" Then Laria came in, pissed off, holding the box in her hand with a huge bump on her head.
"Who was the idiot who ended up have this thing land on my head really hard?" she growled.

"There is a small problem with that theory" Amelia said, "It was foretold for me to have this curse. Unless you want the universe to go kaboom, this curse shouldn't be broken. It said, if anyone, including the vessel, breaks the curse, or get killed, everything will be destroyed. Though it sounds like I'm stubbon, or not willing to try, but I can't mess with this. Its a risk that I don't want to take at all."

Haine pointed to Rei. "She did it."

Melhana sighed. "Suit yourself, then." She said, fed up with the girl's emoness.

Laria sighed and spinned her bracelet. The gold and red turned into a black and purple. She stopped it and pushed the purple button. An image of the head of the dark angel appeared.
"Well, I found the one you described precisely. You want to speak with her or what?" she asked.

"We catch up with you later, we are going to lunch then straight to sickbay to have them examined" Amelia said.

Melhana blinked, then looked to Marshall. "All right, what did you do?" She said. "Were you the idiot to ask her if she's on her period?"

"Aiee! No! Ew!" Marshall said. "I couldn't stay upright on my ice skates."

"Yes, please." The dark angel replied.

"Yeah, I was a wittness to that" Amelia replied, "And it wasn't pretty."

Laria turned the hologram around and enlarged it.
"And what does that guy want with me?" Rei snorted.

"I'll bet," Melhana said. "Well, have fun you two." With that, she waved and strode off.

"Now, lunch" Amelia said, waving back at Melhana, "I actually thought that she will hate me."

"Oh boy....Dej va vous anyone?" Laria sighed.

"She's still keeping her distance," Marshall said. "But...that woman's seen a lot of things regarding the good and the evil."

"Bigtime." Selena said, coming up to the group..

The head of the dark angels spoke again. "Rei Honda, you're heading down a dangerous path." He said. "And, if you don't get the training to control this, you'll not only endanger yourself, but your friends as well."

"Yeah...it seems that she's hiding something" Amelia said.

"And I'm proof to that" Laria said.
"No you're not, Ashleigh Motou is" Rei replied.
"And I'm her" Laria replied, as she turned into her dark arch angel form. Her dress was lacey and long. her hair was way over her knees. A pair of black and purple wings sprouted from her back. With an appearance like that, Haine nearly fell down the hole. Even Selena backed away slowly.
"I know each person has a different experience, but I been down that road Rei. And I know what it's like to have uncontrolled emotions. My friends had to duck and cover when I get pissed like that. Leave it too long and....well...your aura will be fused with your emotions, killing you and everyone on this ship. I nearly had it happen to me, and I don't want you to go the same way that I did. Talk to Melhana and she will back up what I said. Anyway, without Zeruel, the guy I was talking to (who was now mysteriously out of the hologram and now standing next to Ashleigh at that point), I wouldn't be here. If you tackle it now, it won't be a problem. Please, if you won't do it for Sakura, please do it for me."
"Fine" Rei sighed, "but my decision still stands."
"Fair enough, however, you might have to reconsider down the track. Your training with Zeruel will start tomorrow. We already discussed this, so you won't get out of it that easily." Then the two left the room, leaving the box on the floor.
"Thank goodness that's over" Rei said.

While the two was walking down to Ashleigh's quarters, Zeruel noticed that the girl was holding one of her arms and looking down. She also sighed.

"Yeah, I get that feeling too." Marshall said. "She hasn't told us everything." He smiled at Amelia, though, to hide his misgivings. "Hey, how's about we get to lunch?"

Zeruel looked at the woman as she sighed. "Something wrong?" He asked.

"You bet" Amelia, smiling again, "I'm starving."
I hope there isn't any mistletoe anywhere..... she thought.

"The Uriel of this time, before he died, told me that I was the next Surpreme Arch angel" Ashleigh replied, "But I don't know what to do...who will train me, or what's the best course of action, or whatever. I'm so confused."

Right on cue, their stomachs growled in unison. "Food it is then!" Marshall said, leading the way to the mess hall.

Zeruel sighed through his nose, his mouth forming a frown as he thought. "I have no idea." He said finally. "I really don't. I'm sorry, Ash."

"Right" Amelia said, following Marshall.

"Then what am I suppose to do?" Ashleigh asked, "Since my guide in this time is dead, I have no idea what to do next. This is my first assignment, and I don't want to stuff it up. Its relegated that all new graduated angels should have a guide in their first assignment."

It wasn't long until they were at the cafe/lounge onship, which was surprisingly uncrowded during the lunch rush. Marshall led Amelia to a table and pulled out a chair for her. "Feel free to take a seat, my lady, and I'll go order lunch from the replicator."

Zeruel chewed his lip in thought. "You have already unlocked one of your abilities, but as for the guide..." He shook his head. "None of us could forsee Uriel's death at the hands of Kaimiri."

Amelia giggled and sat down.
Come to think of it, he is kinda cute she thought as the looked at him dreamly.

'Then how do you explain him being at her wedding, and her coronation?' Lanchia mindlinked, 'Remember, we had to bend time and space for her to make that possible. If we don't let that happen, she won't see her father at BOTH events. Don't forget that she's from another time. She's still the Princess, NOT the Queen. Her future self haven't left her room. She is still greving and haven't eaten for days.'

Marshall pushed the chair in for her and started to the replicator, then remembered something. "Ah, Amelia, what would you like to eat?" He asked. I don't want to bring back something she's allergic to....

'I know...it's a huge problem.' Zeruel replied. 'And the fact that she hasn't eaten isn't good, at all. We need to find a way for Uriel to be there.'

"Anything is good" Amelia said.

'I can see what we can do' Lanchia replied.
"What abilities?" Ashleigh asked.

Marshall nodded nervously, then headed over to the food replicator. He entered in his order, deciding not to get the same thing for them both. When he returned, he was carrying a steaming bowl of vegetarian chili for himself and a plate of baked ziti for Amelia. "I hope this'll do," he said, setting the plate down in front of her (with the utensils, of course) and taking his own seat.

"Your ability to purify blood, for one." Zeruel replied. "As for the other seven...I have no idea. You'll have to find them out on your own."

'Thanks,' he linked back to Lanchia.

"Um...thanks" Amelia said, then begun to eat.

"Purify blood?" Ashleigh asked, then shivered.

"It's kind of like lasagna." Marshall said, starting in on his chili.

"Isn't that how you saved Yurine from Kaimiri's poison?" Zeruel asked.

"It wasn't me who did that.....it was papa of this time" Laria replied, "My papa is still back at my time so he doesn't know that I know I'm the next of kin."

Amelia looked at Marshall.
"This is delish! I never tasted anything like it" she said.

"He will, though." Zeruel replied. "In time, provided we let it run its course."

"Glad you like it," Marshall said. "But...you've never had baked ziti before? Dang..."

Ashleigh sneezed and morpthed into a black panther.
"Little help here?" she asked, "please?"

"Kaimiri told me not to leave Oblivion unless it's on a mission" Amelia replied.

Zeruel blinked a couple of times, then just had to laugh. "I'm...I'm sorry! It's just...I've never seen someone's powers unlocking from a sneeze of all things." He said. "Shapeshifting must be one of your abilities...my guess, try thinking of your regular form and you'll morph back."

Marshall snorted. "Screw Kaimiri. That acid-smelling assbag can go f*** himself." He said. "Though, apparently that's the only way he'll be able to get any."
