I almost didn't even bother when I saw that we were supposed to get followers by buying them. But then I saw that most people were posting links so I stared it because there was nothing else to do.
But the buying followers really pissed me off.

Same here. When I saw the buying followers bit I was all "You're *expletive* kidding me!" I mean, it's supposed to be a Gaia event. Not a "Let's recruit from Facebook and Myspace and pay us money!" event. Fuck that.
Yay for Mene's events being about Mene and community and fun times!

31 heads, 84 ribs, and 196 bones. I have 2 skeletons. Mostly cause I haven't traded in the rest.
You've posted a lot Cookie. O-o

Hm, well I haven't been on many main event threads so therefor my lack of posting. That and I buy two of each item. Hm...*needs to post a little bit more*

I tend to get quite a few of each item. I've already had someone asking me if I could get something for them since they won't be able to be around for the whole event. I sort of agreed, but we don't know each other very well, so I'm wondering how many other people she's asked to get items for her and how much she'll eventually end up with...

Hm, I'm not sure if I would have agreed or not. I might ask them for something in return though. That's if I was doing it. (plus, I'd check to see how often they were on. I can kinda figure that out at times.)

Well, she said she'd buy them from me and I'm pretty sure I'll have extras, so I'm not terribly concerned. Maybe she'll have something I want so we can make a better trade.

True. It just seemed like a good thing to do. They always do it in the movies after all.

@Wifey - It would have been better if my mom hadn't made me change how I do things. Usually, I cut up the chicken and then cook it, you know, so you have chunks of meat in the pie. But this time she was screaming at me that the chicken was going to go bad so she wanted me to cook it right away and said to just boil it whole. I wasn't too fond of that, but I did it anyway. And of course, you can't get chunks from that. Once it's cooked, you can only shred it and shredded chicken in a pot pie is just not the same. =/
I'm sure that they won't notice it, but I do and that's what counts. It's still yummy, it's just different because of the shredded chicken.
@Jellybean - I hate it when the thread starts to get a bit spammy. That's why that other thread started out about even with us in posts and then doubled so swiftly. All the spammy one-liner type posting people ended up there. :P

@Jelly: lol, that they do. But then at home they yell at you. >_<
And no I didn't yell in my previous post. I just gave a suggestion. ^_^
@Cookie: Hm, I haven't made homemade potpie yet. *ponders of making one*
