What's the point of freezing hatchlings?

So... you can have a hatchling. xD

If you freeze it, it won't grow up. So if you only want the hatchling form,
you should freeze it.
But it still grows wings and get a gender though. But it won't die
unless you kill it I, and I don't think you can abandon it.

You can't abandon it, no.

It's just for people that either prefer the hatchling form or want a full collection of adults and hatchlings.

I am trying to get a full collection of adults and hatchlings. I don't have a hatchling for any of the rares yet, I'll work on that later. if you freeze a hatchling do you still have to give it the views and clicks for it to get wings? I have two frozen hatchlings that haven't grown wings yet, although the one was only JUST frozen...

I've been wondering how to tell an alt version of black. I mean how do you get darker than black?? someone once told me they were purplish? if that is true, I haven't seen an alt black egg.

The shading on the left is a fair bit darker.

I just want one of my eggs to grow up tonight, because you
can only have 4 hatchlings at a time.. And that makes me sad.

xD I don't mind the limit as much nowadays. I can't fit all the dragons I want into my siggy and its just too much trouble to try and switch them in and out every few days.

EXACTLY, Dystopia! Once one of my eggies grows to an adult, I'm gonna just limit myself to 3 eggs and hatchlings at a time. Easier to do sig stuff with.

Yea, thats true. I mean, I had to get my babies adulted
so that I could get my eggs in. And when my eggs hatched
then I had to put a hatchling out, so I could get my new egg
in my siggy.. So I get it that rule.

So how are the rest of you doing tonight? I mean, last night seemed
to suck for everyone. Has is gotten better?
