The town itself was quiet. Kitsune Myobu and Nogikitsune were playing in the yard, and the elder's were tending their land. The Women Asmodeus mentioned, the Nine-tailed fox demon, was watching her daughter, with a blank face.

Gemini approached the woman at a steady pace.It had been a long time since she had spoken face to face with one of her own,but she would not show the pleasure she felt at knowing her race,which she and her siblings created,was still living."Pardon me miss.May I speak to you privately?" She asked.

She looked at you, and stood. She got close to you, and looked into your eye's, as if looking into your very soul. ".....Yes, please, follow me "she said, leading her inside.

Gemini nodded and followed the woman.She noticed that the other was rather quiet,but that suited her just fine.It gave her a chance to think and observe,and avoided the problem of small talk and meaningless conversation.

They sat down in a Shrine of Inari, the Kitsune Goddess of prosperity. The mother closed her eye's, and spoke "Speak your piece, My queen. Our time alone is short. "she said.

Gemini nodded and got straight to the point."I am at a point where my abilities have been called into question.I once shared a psychic link with every member of my species,but that link was corroded and,eventually,lost.I am now in need of that link.I have the ability to reform it,to reconnect with my people on the level we once shared,but I cannot do this alone.I wish to complete this task soon,for a battle is brewing,a battle to end all others.I must be able to connect with my people before this battle takes place." She explained,her quiet voice filled with determination and need.

The women tapped the floor for a moment, then looked at the statue. she then looked at Gemini, straight in the eye. "Put a barrier around this room when I leave. When you do, focus all your Being, towards the statue.....you may have created us, but Inari is the last thing we have as a god, that truly bind's us anymore. "she said. "Feel your body slip from the bound's of earth, and rebuild your connect from scratch. You'll not only notice it return's, but it will be stronger. "She said. "I'm sorry I cannot help you further, but this is a road you must take alone. "She said, standing up, and left.

Gemini nodded."Thank you." She said,and did as she was told.She put up the barrier,and,once she was sure there would be no chance of interruption,she focused.It was a simple task to send her very being towards the statue.Astral projection had always come easily to her.She felt the missing connections,all preserved within Inari.She remembered the creation of Inari,just for this purpose.She focused on the threads of connection.There were countless threads,some appearing and other disappearing even as she gathered them up.The woman had been right: her connection to her people was stronger than ever.For just a moment,she allowed herself to revel in the feeling of it,being the center of a gigantic wheel,the threads like spokes radiating from her and creating a web around her.They were all connected.Slowly,she settled back into her body.It was impossible to know how long she had been outside the realms of time and space,but her body felt as though she had been there at least a week.She removed the barrier and sighed.

The women entered the room. The Area around you was a bit dark with slight decay."Ah, I see. I'v been waiting 2 week's for you to come out of that......"She said, placing a light meal in front of her. "Eat lightly. Your body will need to be reintroduced to food, for having been cut off from it for so long.

Gemini raised an eyebrow."Two weeks? Did any letters come for me?" She asked,her voice cracked with disuse.Starving though she was,she knew the woman was right about eating slowly,so she did just that.

"No, but 2 men, a young women, and two children came by every day. "She said.

Gemini smiled."That would be my husband,his brother and my niece who are engaged,and my twins.Have they come by today yet?" She asked,slowly getting used to her voice again.

"they are in the dining hall, talking. They seemed quite worried about you. "she said.

Gemini looked up."Worried? You did explain what was going on? Has something happened?" She asked,slowly getting to her feet and stretching.She had a terrible urge to use the bathroom,but she wanted to see her family first.

"I did, but that didn't stop them. Like your experiencing, none know how long that sort of meditation can take. You were lucky you came out when you did. Few more week's, and your body would have started eating itself. "she said. "Take care of yourself first. Your family can wait. I know they want to make sure you okay and well to see them."

Gemini nodded."Very well.I'm finished eating,but I do have to use the bathroom.If you could direct me?" She asked politely.

"First door on the right "She said.

Gemini nodded her thanks and went to the bathroom as fast as her body would allow.When she finished,she came out,looking relieved,and stretched again."All right.I'm as ready as I'll ever be." She said.

Suddenly, two small bullet's caught your leg's. You see your twin's beneath you. Lucifer walked over to you, and hugged you, looking much better then he had two week's ago. "Hey hun! Glad to see your still alive!" he said to her.

Gemini smiled,wider than she ever had before.She picked up the twins and turned to Lucifer."It's so good to see you! You look much better.How are things on the home front?" She asked happily.

"Much better. We have Pride, Lust, and Wraith Rebuilt, so we're almost halfway done in the Reconstruction process. "He said. "Zafina and todd's development has been.....staggeringly accelerated. By Beelzebub's Estimation, They have just 15 year's before they're fully grown. Todd's intelligence is also taking a Great spike. I'm unsure, but It seem's like he can read books without opening them. "He said. "Zafina Physical attribute's are also taking a Surprising spike. I, personally, think that they're gene's were swapped up in different area's.....Zafina has the Strength of a Kitsune, and the mind of a Regular demon, and Todd has the exact opposite. "He said.

Gemini raised an eyebrow."Well,I'm proud of them.But I think you are mistaken on one point.Kitsune are much smarter than the average demon,and quicker.Their strength is lacking.Regular demons are strong but not generally smart,unless they are higher up on the food chain,so to speak.Actually,the only reason Rosemary and I are strong is because we are the first of our race." She informed him.

Gemini shook her head."I'm not doubting you,I'm simply telling you not to insult the kitsune's intelligence." She said with a shrug.Looking at her twins,she smiled."Well,you two.It sounds like you'll be a formidable team as you grow up.When we get home,I would love to see your talents." She said.

Zafina smiled, and displayed two Dark-feathered wing's. Lucifer smiled, and rubbed her head. He then looked at todd. "Come on son. Show mummy what you can do. She'll be proud of you, and glad. "he said.
