LMAO, my curiosity has been increased quite a bit now. I can only wonder what the pages themselves look like, although you do not seem to have one at the moment? While I can only seem to see the pronunciations, it is still quite interesting.

The Wiki pages don't look like anything at the moment, they're not fancy or anything. One day there will be lots of useful links though, for past events, storyline, items, you name it, whatever seems relevant. I'm in the catagory of "staff monsters" now I see :roll: rotten swines!

With regard to cookie cutter responses from Gaia, that seems to be pretty standard procedure : / I couldn't log into one of my accounts, it kept telling me that my saved and accurate password was wrong, so I knew I'd have to contact them as I didn't have access to the email that account used so I couldn't reset the password myself.

So, I filled in a form, with as much info as I could think of, I told them:

The account's email address
What was in the inventory
Screenshot of my end of its last trade, which was with my main account
I even linked to its last post, then went and found a post of mine on here for the same day and got the IP and gave them that so they could compare them and see they were the same.

About a week later I got a reply. They said they could give the account a new email address but before they did that I'd need to answer some questions to prove that the account was mine, then they proceeded to ask me for:

The account's email address
What was in her inventory
And what her last trade was...

So yeah, they do NOT read what's in your first contact with them : / Neither did they respond at all to my saying in my reply that I'd already given them all that information already...but I did at least get my account re-activated, which was more than I'd expected I have to say.

My only inquiry to them led to a standard "We will look into it" reply.
I never heard anything again.

I gave up, which is what they intended me to do in the first place.

Yes, exactly. Sometimes the problem's there because they initiated it. Such as banning me for no reason whatsoever and then blaming it all on me saying that I was 'botting', yet refused to give me the proof, then ultimately told me that 'a mod will look into it soon' when they actually meant 'just shut up, stop whining over your pettly little account, leave us alone and go make a new one already'. If spending over 8+ hours a day, with a general of 5 tabs on different parts of the site open on Gaia = botting, then well excuse me for quitting.

Not all the NPCs do... but most of them do. I'm too lazy to look up which ones. >_>;

I have a gaia account as well, I found this site by miss typing the address (don't ask how it happened i don't even know...) but when i saw the avi's here i had to have a look they're so different, they have more figure i like them XD the only plus about gaia that i've found is that the games are more advanced. But i find these simple games fun too cause they remind me of my old gameboy :P

I have one account on gaia now and I don't even go on it that much anymore. I only go on there to check my PMs and announments. Then I just leave after that point. The site has gone to hell in my opinion.

I know Mr. Mayor has one, but that is about as far as I know. Although as that is the only NPC I know of this is hardly surprising.

As for the automated message thing, I must say I find that pretty piss poor. Speaking from my experience as a moderator on another site, I may not be the most amazing person at replying to messages, although at least I take the time to try and reply properly. I guess it is quite simply as someone (possibly you) suggested earlier that there are not enough mods to get through the work.

I really hope they make some sort of announcement about it today at least :\ I was getting sick of seeing the "ghost" announcements popping up and it's irritating when you get your hopes up to read what it could be.

There's been rumors jumping around about the new shops opening up sometime soon within the week or next week, but I'm not going to hold my breath over that.

I just wanna get rid of my silly tickets. I hate hanging onto things like that when the contest doesn't end when it's supposed to :(

I'm not happy with the fact that Gaia seems to be doing the same things that many sites are, such as creating things that require only actual money so that the hard post working people of the world can never earn the items or succumb to paying ridiculous amounts over time. Not to mention that they have that "Sign up and earn Gaia cash" thing going on with companies that are ultimately going to hurt the users.

I still love it for the fashions, community and the items though.

Sadly enough, Gaia has changed so much since I started, that it's getting to the point, I don't really want to be on it anymore. With all the Cash offers and ridiculosly over-priced items. Let's not forget the people who just joined that think they own the place. But oh well, I guess that's how life is. But, I'm liking this site, especially for the lack of idiots and the nice items.

I really like the Gaia marketplace and I think more people would enjoy if there was a way to interact with the avis for discussions. Other than that I think Menewsha holds its own against Gaia. I do like the way Menewsha moderates better than Gaia. Gaia has gotten were anything goes. And it is getting so sexually explicit that Im not crazy about it anymore. Expecially when I think of all the young people on there and how they are really getting a bit too vulgar. Not to mention it has become a money hog. Items used to be special but now they are not so special anymore. With more items coming out all the time the EIs are taking longer to evolve and not as much though is going into making them more colorful and unique.

I could not agree more. These bundle packs and the cash shop, even though there were high prices as an issue at one point in time for the gaian market place now it is just off the wall if you play with out spending real life money on the site.
