And yeah, I don't get online enough. Well, that isn't entirely true since I do use the internet a lot at work. But they blocked Mene in my office since its considered a 'gaming' site so I do go online a lot. Just not for Mene.

Actually, its still kind of normal for people to be living with their parents here after marriage. Some parents actually insist that the whole family live together. LOL! I know a lot of my cousins who are married with families of their own still living with their parents. Though I think I probably would move out since I am the daughter. Probably move out to stay with my husband's family once I am married.

Ah, its a Sunday here now and I'm not doing anything as well. I do, sometimes prefer to stay home and just relax after a hard week at work :) So, I guess I am somewhat a homebody as well.

i'm online a lot i guess just don't get on mene. seems like nobody is ever on when you are. so i usually just log out and go watch tv lol.

that's cool. my father in law wants us to live with him, but i'd rather not. i like being on our own. it's nice to be able to do what you want. if we lived with him i'd feel like he'd have to know everything and i wouldn't like that. guess it's just my personality.

Sunday here too! not doing anything today. just sitting around waiting for them to fix the hot water heater again. hubby went to help his dad so it's just me and bubba here. jacob thought he had to go with his dad. lol. jacob is four and bubba (kaleb) is two. they are on crazy pair of brothers lol!! :D

so how would you hide your cats from you landlord? lol! we really aren't supposed to have cats, but hubby brought some home anyways. shouldn't have, but now he won't give them away. we have three. penny our oldest is fixed so i wouldn't wanna give her away, but the other two i'd be fine with. i think the landlord would be ok with just one kitty, but not three! thought about just closing them up in the bedroom, think that would work?? lol!

Yeap, its true that I find not many people online when I'm here. Sometimes I feel like I am talking to myself. But its alright, it does test my patience. LOL! I am kind of used to it though being online when no one is around. I guess its because of the time difference here. I live in Asia and there really aren't many Asians in Mene ^^"

Oh yeah, having independence is great too. I can imagine the benefits actually but its really pros and cons to me. Maybe I'm just saying I wouldn't mind living with my future hubby's family. ButI wouldn't really know until I actually get married first. Maybe his family may not be the best people to live with...

You're blessed with two sons :) I wish to have sons too! I've never had a brother and my whole house is just women and one man (my dad) so I don't really know what its like to have a young guy around the house. And Bubba is such a cute nickname for a kid! <3

Well, if I really had to give them away, I would! Because it would be really hard for me to let go of them if I grew attached. Especially if they are still kittens and have those sad eyes. I'm an animal lover and have 4 dogs at home! And I would freak if any of them were missing... So really, I can't imagine giving any animal away once I start liking them too much :(

yeah getting a new family is kinda strange. they do different things than what you are used to, that's why i'd rather not move in with my hubby's family.

aww thanks! they are pretty silly!! Bubba's name is really Kaleb, but since Jacob was little we have called Kaleb Bubba, so it has stuck. he even tells everyone his name is Bubba! :lol:

aww i dont wanna give the kitties away!! i hope they stay quiet while they are fixing the water heater. i'd rather hubby be here when they do, but he has to work. we haven't had hot water since friday. it really sucks! i love my kitties, and i think we should find a place where it's ok for us to have them.

I'm in Malaysia actually so I think tis almost like a 12 hour difference where we are :) I've had a lot of online friends in the USA so usually when I'm online at night, its the afternoon there and I have to catch them on the weekends when they have no school or work.

Does Jacob have a nickname then or is it just Bubba? Its really nice having kids right. I guess it could be really tiring having to keep up with two boys with that much energy. But I can imagine how much joy they bring to both your lives.

Do kitties make that much noise though? O.o I know my dogs make a huge racket when they see other dogs, cats, humans, anything for that matter... But kitties seem to be much quieter? I remember my neighbour's cat used to come into my home all the time and she never really made a sound unless she was hungry.

Hey everyone! I'm back from the mission! 6 days, no shower... among other things. :sweat: it's good to be back. Happy Thanksgiving to all! And guess what? I'm finally getting a promotion! Muahahaha... SGT. Oh yes... I can feel the power already. Not like I didnt have it as a CPL but now I will have even more! It's a pretty cool Thanksgiving surprise.

So what did everyone eat for thanksgiving? :)

And we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in MAlaysia :( Well I'm sure some people do but I'm not one of those who do but I would have loved to eat Turkey!!! The closest we get to turkey here would be turkey ham sandwiches. Actually, all I know about Thanksgiving food is turkey. I'm not even sure what people usually have for thanksgiving dinners. It would be kinda cool to know.

aww thanks pancake!! :D at my house for thanksgiving my mom makes turkey (of course) mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, stuffing, and usually pumpkin and cherry pie. sometimes she makes apple or pecan pie. depending on what my dad wants lol!! at my mother in law's instead of mashed potatoes, she makes sweet potatoes, and usually she'll make a ham. her cheese dip is pretty good too. :)
hubby should be home soon so we can get on our way. going to two different places today, it sucks. i'd rather just do one place a day, but i guess that's what happens when you get married and all your family live in the same town. :/

Uhm, yes my job is real? Combat medic, US Army, at your service. :) So, I got to do the whole "combat" part again. Love it. Though, not so much when our guys get injured, and they did. So it's kinda a sweet and sour effect. Good that I get to do things but bad that I have to do it for us, woulda been better if it was a bad guy or something. Oh well.

And my promotion might be on hold :gonk: Nuuuuuuu! I want a raise!!! *cough* I think I caught someone's cold >.>

Wow! Thanksgiving feasts sound amazing! My tummy is grumbling just by looking at the list of food you typed in there! I wants me some pie! I don;t think I have really ever eaten a real pie before. Those that they sell in Starbucks and Coffee Bean, I don't consider. LOL! I want the kind of pie they draw in Archie Comics where the pie rises and looks like a tiny dome XD

And Zephi, your job sounds very admirable really. Not a very conventional job. You're saving people's lives but you also go in during um, battles (do you call them battles?) And it sucks that your promotion got postponed. I can imagine that you got your hopes up and it did not materialize. I'm hoping they do not postpone my raise this year! I will be super bummed and upset if they do =.=

And, I just watched Rapunzel with my girlfriends today. It was a great movie in my opinion. And it was nice to hang out with my high school friends! I love them and being able to share things with them. Even though I feel like we didn't get to talk much since we were just shopping around for a cocktail dress for one of them. No luck though, the dresses this season seem to not suit our tastes >.<

I'll be heading to a homeless shelter tomorrow with one of the girls again to see some of the children which we met last week. I inititally had other plans but they got cancelled so I thought I would just head on to the shelter and play with the kids. After that, we'd probably continue with the dress shopping in another mall! Hope we are able to get it tomorrow.
