Nope. I'm never busy, that's why I can always add more to the list. At least the to read list is shorter than the has read list.

lol I wish... it is essays for ESL students (I suck at grammar, why did they make me an ESL teacher instead of history????) and I told them they would be presenting them tomorrow...

I know... silly me... I love teaching so much, but I wasn't trained for this. No curriculum, textbooks, or guidelines. The korean teachers told me to teach and walked away. Those classes are enough to make me want to give up teaching. So frustrating and confusing I could pull my hair out.

*shudder* I hated being a student in normal english in the first place. I don't even want to think about being a teacher in ESL.

trust me... its hard. I rather teach history and show students how interesting and cool the subject can be under the right teacher

Sounds like being a teacher is a lot of work...

its worse... I don't know how to teach English... most of my students don't know anything beyond basics like numbers, months, body parts, and a few other common phrases... and I don't know what they know or don't know.... want to leave sometimes...

If they're anything like I was, I feel very, very sorry for you.

It is difficult, but for being fresh out of college, this job is a life sent. I can pay off college loans each month and still have money to play with... sad part is I am overseas away from loved ones.

originally a year... which is almost up come August... but then I promised them another year if they would pay my flight back home last Feb... so it is going to be another 14 months min... if the US economy still sucks, then maybe 16 months instead...
