I was wondering the same thing myself about the brushes. I was hoping to be able to use them.

Spicedroses: I don't think so, because all media used should be your own...

Sizzla actually says on the front page that all entries do not have to be done with the egg template. She actually says that you can make your own egg or paint a real one even. :3

I love pixel art. So I can't wait to see what you do, if you make one.

Wicked, perhaps I am mistaken but I think she meant using a pixel doll base ^^

So long as the base is free to use and you follow any rules the person who made it set (ie link back to them, don't redistribute etc) then it would be fine :)

I unfortuently cannot accept this entry as your using images that don't belong to you ^^;

As for the brushes, same rules as bases apply - so long as they are free to use and you follow any rules the person who made them sets, then its fine :)
