California. We've been swamped with a crazy bunch of water over the last month and a half... >.< And today it's been rainy to sunny to rainy, to sunny to cloudy. The all over the place weather has given me a bad headache. :(
I took meds for it - and it's not as bad as it could have been. So at least there's that.

WE do get water here --- we don't live in Southern California. Northern California -- were we live -- gets water, even though everyone keeps saying we were in a drought -- but given what I've seen over the last few years, to me, we weren't in as bad a drought as everyone said we were in.
I have friends who over the last month have been flooded FIVE times... Twice in January, Three times just a week ago.

I'm tired of people assuming that we don't have water here, because BELIEVE ME -- we do.

I know people who had to be evacuated due to the whole possible emergency spillway failure that's been going on up here. It's very much a real thing -- this overload of water that we've been getting hit with.

No Hell is not freezing over -- it's just the time of the year when we get water, just like we have every year in the past. Nothing out of the ordinary -- other than the multiple floods in the past month, that isn't quite as normal as usual.

Well to be fair I didn't know what part you lived in. It's not exactly a blind assumption when California does have a huge drought problem. I'm an Oregonian. And all of my Dad's family is Californinan, but they DO live in Souhern California. Likewise my silblings are all from Washington and I know how MUCh rain they get xD

Not all of California is like Southern California.

Just saying from what we're going through up here -- that it is VERY safe to say that we are no longer in a drought. FIVE floods in a the span of a month and dams that are threatening to fail (to be honest - it's technically the emergency spillway that's causing problems due to an issue in the main spillway) due to too much water -- that's saying something... We absolutely do have water.
Safer to ask which part than assume because we definitely aren't like Southern California up here.

And believe me when I say -- we NO longer have a drought problem... We have an excess of water and more snow up in the mountains than ever before (a record snow fall, which is what has caused all of the floods due to very warm storms that have come through).. It's NOT been good at all. :/ It's been really stressful.

Bah. I don't know why I still feel tired yet today. I went to bed at a decent time this morning but I'm still tired. I need something with caffeine. Too bad I'm broke till tomorrow.
