I agree with the live-action Hunchback.
But at the same time, I don't think Disney could top the original. Hellfire was a classic song, I can't imagine life without it~
I hated Maleficent because they completely changed the story. I am a huge fan of the original animated Sleeping Beauty and they just changed it way too much for my liking. Maleficent was so brilliant because she was so evil and heartless. Making her the hero totally ruins her.
This show is so fine. Marvel really has gone no bars with the gore and action. There's just some really grotesque scenes that they stand still at for forever so you can take in what just happened. And that's just four episodes in.
Well, no, actually the mature rating gives alot of leeway in the content you can show. Game of Thrones has a mature rating and shows so many grotesque things as well as its fair share of nudity.
Netflixs own shows like House of Cards don't have any ratings though. They could technically do whatever they want but they obviously do what they can within the bounds of television.
Game of Thrones isn't on network television? Wut? You know it's a premium subscription based channel? It's just not a publicly accessible channel because you require a subscription on top of your cable provider to have it. The same can be said for Showtime. It's definitely network television but it can get away with more because it's on a channel that is not publicly accessible and has a more adult audience due to the demographics HBO goes for.
HBO broadcasts like any other network excluding Netflix or Amazon Instant Video. They still have certain restrictions based on that.
One of my last classes that I took before graduation was "The art of Walt Disney" and it went into a lot of the politics of Disney and the things that Walt did to keep the studio alive. It wasn't great, but the studio is here now because of it.
Yes, I believe Christopher Robin is a Disney movie. :)
I love Winnie the Pooh, but I don't think I like their design in CR.
I think they looked better in 2D.
That's just my opinion, though. I feel like Dumbo was better in 2D too.
I don't know why Disney is going to make a remake of Dumbo, though?! Who asked for that?!
