On the wind words are whispered
The night song of the goddess
Listen closely my dear
For the unheard melody
Let your heart be filled with harmony
In the gentle night
Fireflies dance across the starry sky
Flowers sway to and fro
To the music carried by the wind
In honor of the goddess
Laughter can be heard
As well as happy chatter
Excited as the feast finally begins
All falls silent and glasses are raised
‘Praise be to the goddess’

In a wide dark field, on a cold clear night,
The stars come out to play.
Dancing and swirling light,
Cascade across the Milky Way.
Venus joins the evening star
To jig above the trees
The moon watches on from a far
Quite full and very pleased.
And I sit out to watch them there
While the wind it plays and whips my hair
Upwards, as if to bring me near
To join their dance in the atmosphere.
I'm also having to mix three background songs live, during my performance, on top of singing and... everything else I'm doing. Just a touch more primping and I have to write my credits on paper and beginin soundchecking.
I think I made it... posting link now and will fill out the form and make it pretty in a sec:
Belt it Out!

WARNINGS: My onboard microphone cracked a number of times.
The sun was going down so the better I got the worse my lighting got so I had to settle
I was used to singing this in an altered key so my voice cracked sometimes, too =/

Fun Facts: Mixed halfway between the TV version (which always gets taken down... even the half. and the 'proms' live version hence all the clapping).
The narrartor at the beginning is an Ood. The ood was a slave race the Doctor freed. They had three brains. The one that let them function, a 'hive mind' kept locked by a circle... they wanted it broken so they could SING. Ood Sigma, one of the ones that helped with the Rebellion is the one telling The Doctor (After he absorbed a Nuclear Reactor's amount of radiation to save his old companion's WWII hero grandfather and who believed in aliens before she did) that his song was ending, and the Universe will SING him to his sleep.
Lyrics:
Quote:
Vale Decem; Ad aeternam
Di meliora, ad aeternam.
Vale Decem; di meliora,
Beati pacifici.
Vale Decem; Alis grave.
Ad perpetuam memoriam.
Vale Decem; Gratis tibi ago
Ad aternam.
Nunquam singularis, nunquam dum spiro fido.
Vale, vale, vale...
