I don't think it has much of an effect when girls do it. D: But I do love cross dressers and drag queens. <3 I think they're AMAZING. Any man who can pull off a female appearance and REALLY look like one (as in, you would never know unless they told you they were really a man), is incredible. I truly admire them. :]

Yes, I do cross-dress sometimes... *blushes*//
Umm, yeah I get PAID to be a manhoe n wear skirts n stuff...
I guess some people would consider me a Transgender cuz I consider myself "a woman stuck in a boy's body..." but its cool, I don't mind being a guy... I'm NOT one of those people that want surgery. *shrugs* I don't see the point. God gave me this body, so if god wants me to be a dude, than a dude I shall be! LOL

I don't care if other people do it, and I did it in high school (though, when a girl wears boy's clothing, it's not quite as noticeable).

I don't mind cross-dressing. I kind of like it when guys do it but I guess being a fan of J-Rock and Visual Kei has effected me. Cross-dressing is a big trend in Japan.
I don't really like when women do it though, surprised? But I am not against it. That is my opnion.
I don't cross-dress. I probably wouldn't unless cosplaying as a male character.

Like anything, if your going to try and play a part, You should try and play it all the way, or it just doesn't do it justice. You can't just put on a skirt, and say your a cross dresser. You have to do all the things the gals have to do too, like waxing, shaving, makeup ect.. I have high respect for a guy who can walk down the street wearing hoes, skirt and platform high heals, and still can walk properly. I do have to agree though, that not everyone can pull it off. >.<

I saw an Australian movie where these guys (including Guy Pierce) were in a drag show once. It was a great movie and all the characters looked amazing dressed up as women. I was very impressed.

Err...not really. Not a big fan of it unless it was a costume party or Halloween or something. Avies, I don't mind. Real life; not as much.
It bothers me a little bit only because it scares me for some reason. Like, I have nothing against crossdressers, but I can't help but to feel a bit uncomfortable around them.
I don't do it, myself. :\

I so agree. Not everyone can pull of cross-dressing. If you are a fan of cowboy bebop and if you have been to an anime convention, you proably heard of the ManFey. That is so wrong.
DON'T GOOGLE IT! SAVE YOUR EYES!

I like it. If it was some old OLD man like really wrinkley I would go ew. Otherwise I think its perfectly natural and fine. I am proud of the people who crossdress. I would not be ashamed of even having a friend who does. I would ask to hug them allot >_< its just that awesome. More so if it looks good on them. :insane:

As long as they can pull it off well, I wouldn't mind them cross dressing at all. I've never met someone who had crossdressed before, but I've read in some mangas about it. There's this manga called Hourou Musuko that gets into it real well. It's about this boy and girl that both are getting into crossdressing. Here's the summary of it:
Quote:
Shuichi Nitori is a 5th grade student who likes to bake and has always been something of a feminine boy. When he transfers to a new school, Shuichi is mistaken for his 6th grade sister on his first day. Then he ends up sitting next to Yoshino Takatsuki, a tall, boyish girl who everyone calls "Takatsuki-kun." They both have secrets they can't let anyone know....

It's interesting and touching. It's a recommended read.

I definitely didn't pull off cross-dressing, lol.
I hated high school, for a number of reasons, but I had been raised with the notion that high school boys have no good intentions, so I hid my then-slender-body from them under baggy pants and hoodies and t-shirts. It was pretty apparent that I wasn't wearing girl pants lol. I also refused to wear shorts or skirts AT ALL. Not even in gym class (long sweat pants in the middle of August, yup). So yeah, the most skin I showed was neck, face, arms, and hands. And the occasional ankle (if I sat down or something and my pants weren't quite long enough).
So really, I did it to intentionally make myself "ugly." Hey, it worked, I never wound up dating anyone from my high school :)
Though now I'm kindof sad because I gained a lot of weight my last year in high school (partially due to my hormone disorder, and partially due to a drastic change in diet), so I'm not slender anymore :/
But I grew some huge boobs. I guess that's a plus. *shrug*

i really have no problem with people dressing how they want to. it is our right to express ourselves as long as it doesn't put others into harm. dressing as a girl, if you are a boy, should not cause problems as long as people who think they are all high and mighty stay out of it. once they try to intervene, that is when people get hurt and it is usually the person in question. when this happens, it isn't fair. did you hear about that one guy who got kicked out of school for cross dressing? the school officials said that his outfits were distracting the students from their work and starting fights. it was lame. everyone should be able to dress how they want. i personally really like girls clothing so i wear it but, if i found guy clothing to my liking, then i would totally wear it.

I don't really care for people to cross dress. When I see a man dressed in a miny skirt, breast implants, and make up I have to be concerned. Especially when I sat next to it on the bus. It's really uncomfortable but people can dress the way they want. I watched on one show this one boy got kicked out of high school for cross dressing. That's taking it a little too far. He had two options: dress more "manly" or get kicked out. He stood up for what he believed in and thats admirable.

i don't do it but i don't care if other people do it. i don't see why anyone would care about this. as long as they're wearing some kind of clothing i usually won't even notice that they're cross-dressing, much less actually care.

I adore cross dressers. I have known many in my life both male and female. They were very confident people who spent a lot of time and effort on their appearance. They were more conscientious of fashion, detail, and over all effect of their ensemble than I have ever been. it was a pleasure to hang out with them.
Not to mention, the were beautiful. Most people didn't realize they were cross dressers. =3

The way I see it is, clothes are clothes. Someone designed a shirt with some glitter on it, whos to say that only a girl can wear it. If a boy likes it, he should be able to wear it. Heels? Let them feel our pain haha they can have em'!
But really, each person is different and has every right to express his or herself in any way he or she likes. It's like art to me. I make something out of colors and lengths and materials that catch my eye, that appeal to me, that I love. If someone ever told me that I couldn't use some of the things that I use, because it was for boys, I'd punch them. Right in the kisser :] haha there is no reason that we can't all equally share the things we have on this planet. If you want it, buy it, if you love it, wear it.
Be who you are no matter what anyone else thinks. As long as you are doing no harm to anyone. Just because most people don't crossdress, doesn't mean they haven't thought about it from time to time. It mostly means they are just like the majority of the robotic population afraid to be who they are and take chances and step out of conformity.
So good for you crossdressers. Show up the scaredy-cat simple minded robots of our time.

Lmso. believe it or not, but my ex, he cross dressed when he was in his teens. He grew up with females and was so femanin his self that he wanted to feel pretty. He loves being bretty and beautiful. So I am comfy with it, as long as it suits the person that is. Some people should step back and turn away from the dress. >< lol

I cross dressed when I was younger for lulz. I had a lot of girls hit on me online and offline, it was just generally silly. However, it's kind of idiotic when people do it to pretend they're someone they're not. I'm not saying girls should have long hair, dress in skirts and do 'girly' crap. However, what's the point of hiding your breasts and trying to look like a guy?
I just don't really understand why some people do it. Maybe some are more comfortable going out in public like that? Who knows? I don't really care though.
