"The kitchens," Amelia said with a blush, "Vampires do not sleep? My father said they do.. Is that why you slept in the bed beside me? I assumed you had a coffin," Amelia added with a deepened blush.

"Well, they don't really... though it's the only resort I have whenever the sun is out... now come here.." He brought her close to himself as he transported them through the shadows back into the kitchen.

Amelia nodded as they appeared in the kitchens. Remaining pressed against him, her face buried in his chest, Amelia spoke softly, "You must get bored; having to lay about in a sleep-like form for hours on end day after day. Didn't you play any board games with your brothers?"

"Now that I am living here, we must find a way for me to roam these halls without being so frightened.. Is there any way to keep candles lit throughout the halls at night? As well as in each room that I will be going into?" Amelia inquired softly as she looked up into his eyes, "I know it is silly.. Especially for a girl who has just turned nineteen.. But I am truly petrified of the dark.. A it ironic given my profession, is it not? Who ever heard of a Huntress being afraid of the dark when she is meant to kill what goes 'bump in the night'," Amelia joked with small laugh.

Judes stroked her hair a bit. "We do, but only chess... we do have a library, but that's not it... the few stray rays that get in here could rile us up at times..."

He smiled at her joke. "I understand... Though candles aren't exactly permanent, I could light a few just so you can navigate your way around while you sleep..."

Looking up at him, Amelia smiled a warm smile, "You will? That would be perfect! Thank you, Judes, I truly appreciate it!" Amelia said as she placed a kiss upon his cheek and hugged him.

Her stomach rumbling, Amelia blushed as she stepped back a step and looked up into Judes piercing eyes in the darkness, "May we start with this room? I'm quite hungry.. And you must be too," Amelia added as she bit her lower lip gently.
