See one of my characters is throwing a fit, because she saw the guy she likes nearly fall off a balcony and she's really worried about him. She goes over, and he just brushes it off. She starts screaming at him, and he goes and says she rejected him by rejecting his friendship. So of course she calls him an idiot and explains what she was thinking at the time. And now she's crying and has her back turned while she tries to calm down...

Ahhhh... She rejected friendship...? Stupid choice XD

Actually she gave back this necklace that was originally meant for the merman's true love, but he gave it to her because he's like friendship is a type of love so here. She gave it back, because she sees that he might fall fro someone, and she thinks it's wrong for her to keep it if that's the case. And he thinks she's rejecting his friendship...
