That sounds like a good idea, Liztress! :D I'm sure if I played with puzzles more as a kid I might be a whiz at it than I am now xD the rubix cube still taunts me at times :lol:

:lol: I played lots as a kid and I still fail at them.

But both my boys love to do puzzles.

OMG I still have my rubix cube. I never did solve it though. The thing came with directions on how to solve it but I told myself I wouldn't look at them until after I seriously tried to do it by myself.

I'm a member of a few teacher's websites that have basic word search generators. I'd link you to them, but the one I used here isn't open to the public. :sweat: You should be able to find some basic ones online, though! I know there are a bunch around, so google could help you out.

And I can't wait to see more submissions soon! It looks like a lot of you guys have been busy, I just haven't gotten many in my inbox yet. :yes:

Thats good to hear :) what with video games incorporating puzzle-themes, I find it refreshing to go back and revisit some of the classics like Sudoku or cross-words -- heck, even Tetris!

Haha :lol: Yes! I am similar! Thats the pride of a person who wants to solve a rubrix cube right off the bat xD I ended up looking up a few youtube hints/tips and attempted to memorize the "algorithms".... I, too, did not want to read the directions ;)

I'll probably just look at the directions next time I go home. ^^;

This is going to be tough, since I lack the knowledge of the first puzzle. XD I know the theme, but... Not the names. >.>;

That's kind of how I'm doing the hard puzzle. Once I figured out the theme, I did a bunch of searching to come up with the words.

I started working on the medium one.

Can words be spelled backwards? Or are all words spelled forward?

Yes, some words might be backwards or at an angle. :yes:

I hate the backwards ones, they're always the most difficult to find. >.<

I thought this would be a sinch because I lovee word puzzles - but DANG! This was a toughie!
Definitely challenging, which I love - but finding the theme of the puzzle, and then wondering if the words you're finding fits with the theme, is so hard! I mean, even the Easy was challenging lol
Definitely going to get my brain moving doing these this event!

Knowing how many words to find helps, most definitely :3
I think a clue at what the theme is would be a little helpful though ;P
