My gallbladder just gets lazy or something & decides it doesn't want to do its job.
My doctors never could figure out what was going on with it.
I just don't want to go through all that poking & prodding again.

Ohh Akio my hubby has kidney stones hes shuts down when they start to hurt him >.<

Damia, my doctor was telling me that I was having panic attacks. Gave me vicodin and xanax. It wasn't until I was admitted to the ER for severe dehydration, vomiting and severe lower back pain that they figured out it that my gall bladder had mutinied.

I could do with a muscle relaxer right now. My shoulder is killing me.

Well it's mostly poet's lungs that are constantly throwing a fit... bit ehh... pneumonia at 1 year old does that... get your kids the best hospital care possible if they get that o.o

I couldn't imagine a guy having kidney stones... their uretha is longer.

Queen silly doctors. >.<

Still not worth going through that type of pain....

I have this unhealthy fear of doctors. Like I don't want to go unless I'm dying. I don't trust them and I feel like they're just trying to make a buck at my expense....

My husband had kidney stones...no fun. He was in agony.

males can get kidney stones... it's the infections that they don't typically get for that reason DD

That's what I've heard too. It's the only time we've gone to the hospital for him, other than when he started to have severe heart problems while at work. He has attacacardia (sp?) where one of his main nerves to his heart he's got an additional one that doesn't function properly. They went in there and tried to fry it with a laser and ended up doing more harm than good. For the most part he's alright as long as he gets plenty of sleep and watches his caffeine intake.

Lasers being fired inside the human body is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of...

I have tons of vicodin. Every time I get a root canal the doc gives me some, and I usually only take 1 or 2.

Poet, when you said "firing lasers" the sound, Pew, Pew Pew...ran through my brain. heh.

They ran all sorts of different test on my gallbladder, even did an ultrasound of it. The thing does work but for some reason it just randomly decides it doesn't want to work or wants to cause severe pain when it does work.
It has done this several times over the years.
I don't want to jinx it, but it hasn't done it in a while now.

That made me think of an anime style picture one of my friends found. It was cute. The girl had her fingers our aiming them at people saying that.

@Jean - that's what my hubby usually does as well. We've been without health insurance for well over a year now so what he does have left is very little. Hopefully before too long we will be covered again.

You can exist very well without your gall bladder...

I guess I will keep mine until it decides to quit entirely.
